Responsibilities:1. Support of Marketing Activities:Monitor all marketing deadlines, domestic and international: activity deadlines, filings, grant submissions, reports, extension requests, etc.Participate in the drafting of the annual UES application, with emphasis on collecting relevant data and reporting results of prior-year activities.Assist in the preparation and execution of marketing activities as assigned, including trade shows, trade missions, social media outreach, education events, promotional events, etc.Manage trade leads.Manage the Marketing contacts database, domestic and international.Work with VPM to create presentations outlining marketing results, activities and goals for USA Pulse boards and committees.2. Administrative tasks:Invoices & Expenses.Assist in the review of invoices & expense reports for proper documentation and submit same for payment in a timely manner.Maintain documents.Maintain files of Agreements and Amendments.End of year Reports.Compile, complete and submit all end-of-year financial reports to grant entities.Assist program managerswith administrative functions including project management and planning and executing events.Marketing Staff Conference-Organize the annual Marketing Staff Conference for the international marketing representatives.Administrative Responsibilities:Office Operations:Assist management staff in areas of general office operation including phone reception.Travel. Participate in selected domestic and International activities in accordance with U.S. Department of Agriculture and USADPLC travel guidelines.Position RequirementsBS/MS or equivalent of 1-2 experience in marketing/economics/statistics. Technical qualifications should include experience in marketing, project management and food product promotion. Knowledge of food marketing and economic analysis is preferred. The individual should demonstrate effective communication skills, both oral and written, experience in strategic planning, grant writing, and strong computer skills.
