POSITION SUMMARY:
The Division Director will oversee teaching, research, and patient care in the outpatient and inpatient settings, including oversight of our clinical research unit. The Director will be responsible for expenditures from a $15 million endowment aimed towards research and teaching in allergy and immunology. The successful applicant will have current National Institutes of Health (NIH) funding at the level of at least two R01 grants or the equivalent, and a history of such funding, related to basic or translational research in allergy & immunology. Laboratory space and start-up funds for the Director's research program will be provided by MCOM, and the Director will have a nationally competitive salary with bonus potential. Resources for recruitment of additional research-intensive faculty will be made available through various sources in order to continue to grow the Division. The Division is supported by a strong Department of Internal Medicine, and a research-focused Dean and Vice Dean for Research. The practice plan provides significant infrastructure and logistic support for addressing clinical issues as they arise. The division trains medical residents and offers a fellowship in allergy/immunology. The division also provides clinical coverage at area hospitals and clinics, including the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center, the James A. Haley VA, All Children's Hospital, and at our major teaching affiliate-Tampa General Hospital.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• RESEARCH: Oversight of the Allergy Clinical Research Unit. Minimum Qualifications: PhD in ecology or related discipline. The applicant should possess proficiency in R, and a record of publication in academic journals.
Preferred Qualifications: Competitive candidates will have demonstrated experience with using satellite-derived data in ecological contexts; identifying and leveraging novel data sources; applying dynamical models to ecological/epidemiological questions, ideally with vector-borne zoonoses; and eco-informatics and applying machine learning methods to ecological questions.
Duration: This position is full time for one year, subject to renewal. The position includes base salary of $60,000, plus benefits. Start date is May 1, 2023.

Minimum Qualifications: PhD in ecology or related discipline. The applicant should possess proficiency in R, and a record of publication in academic journals.
Preferred Qualifications: Competitive candidates will have demonstrated experience with using satellite-derived data in ecological contexts; identifying and leveraging novel data sources; applying dynamical models to ecological/epidemiological questions, ideally with vector-borne zoonoses; and eco-informatics and applying machine learning methods to ecological questions.
Duration: This position is full time for one year, subject to renewal. The position includes base salary of $60,000, plus benefits. Start date is May 1, 2023.

It requires the evaluation and verification of classification numbers, subject headings, and name authorities against established standards. The USF Health Morsani College of Medicine (MCOM) Assistant Director of Wellbeing provides wrap-around care for professional health students at MCOM to help them understand the importance of wellness, introduce them to tools that can be used to enhance wellness, connect those in need with wellness resources such as Student Health Services, Counseling Center, Students with Disabilities Services, Student Outreach and Support Case Managers, community providers etc. To improve quality of life and success of MCOM students, the Assistant Director of Wellbeing engages in active collaboration with treatment providers in order to facilitate cross-communication, coordinate treatment planning, and monitor student engagement in services.

Professional Development Coach in SELECT curriculum.
Teaching in Doctoring IV and leadership curriculum.
Delivering programming to educate students, faculty and staff about wellness and tools to prevent and/or cope with burnout.
Administrative Duties:
Oversees larger mental health assessment efforts.
Works with MD program Collegia (learning community) student leaders and the Office of Student Affairs to plan wellness activities for Collegia events.
Supervises Peer Support Network (PSN) senior students who provide support/counseling to younger students.
Oversees internal and external partnerships and services designed to support student well-being.
Manages budget for well-being programs and services.
Other:

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
All candidates should show evidence of strong human relations, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration with a diverse community of students, faculty, staff, and external constituents. Outstanding candidates must have:
• An earned doctoral degree from an accredited institution with specialization in an
education field or a closely related discipline relevant to the Department’s programs;
• Attained rank of Full Professor;
• Evidence of teaching excellence within a College/School of Education or comparable entity;
• A demonstrated record of scholarly productivity in national and/or international refereed journals;
• Experience with program development and program accreditation approvals;
• An outstanding university record of publishing, teaching, research, scholarly work, and other professional accomplishments commensurate with appointment as a full professor with tenure according to USF’s guidelines (see https://www.usf.edu/provost/faculty-info/tenure-promotion.aspx ).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Successful experience as a department chair or co-chair or significant experience in an administrative role in a university setting;
• Experience with innovative delivery methods, including online, in-person, and/or field-based;
• Evidence of leadership experience that includes the application of skills in consensus building and conflict resolution;
• Evidence of fostering and supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of their work;
• Expertise and commitment to working effectively with students, faculty, staff and/or other constituents, including but not limited to those from diverse academic, racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, religious, international, and ability backgrounds.
• Demonstrated capacity for collaborative leadership and the mentoring of new scholars;
• Current knowledge in the utilization of technology for communicating, providing instruction, office management, and other related activities;
• Successful experience with departmental budgets, grants and/or other sources of external funding;
• Experience teaching in Pre-K-12 schools or equivalent settings;
• Expertise in teacher preparation and the development of programs and partnerships.
