Therefore, we are particularly interested in candidates who have worked with immigrant youth facing these challenges.

Full Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities:
• Maintain a knowledge base of social services available to clients in assigned work areas;
• Establish and maintain working relationships and partnerships with local service providers and administrators in each service area to enhance the referral process;
• Conduct assessments of clients referred by our attorneys, including the larger context in which the child is living, identifying needs, barriers and safety concerns;
• Develop a comprehensive service plan in conjunction with the child and the child's family and attorney when appropriate, and maintain documentation regarding attempts to access services, and service delivery;
• Complete referrals to services, assist families in completing intake requirements for these services and follow up as necessary; and
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree required in Social Work or Counseling preferred
• At least 2 years of experience working with immigrants, preferably youth
• At least 2 years of experience working with survivors of abuse, human trafficking or other trauma

Additional Qualifications:
• Fluency in English and Spanish, spoken and written, required. Candidates who are not able to read, write and speak fluently in both English and Spanish will not be considered.
• Ability to work collaboratively, and preferably, prior experience working with immigration attorneys and other legal and social service providers;
• A strong record of cultural competence and cross-cultural communication skills;
• Experience with or the ability to work with a diverse student body, faculty and staff;
• Experience working with a diverse team of social service providers and advocating on behalf of clients;
• Independent worker and self-starter who will be able to create a network of resources and contacts within different geographical areas;
• Ability to travel at least 25% of the time for court appearances and home visits;
• Valid driver's license required with reliable transportation; and
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds and able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

Teaching : Candidates must demonstrate strong potential for teaching excellence along with a desire to collaborate with other faculty teaching multiple sections of the same course consistently and developing new electives and curricula. Skills in teaching business analytics, operation and production systems in organizations, management information systems, and/or programing in SQL and Python are highly desirable. Classes are typically 4 units or 2 units (which meet only half the semester). 36 credits every two academic years which will be best covered with the schedule of two classes for three semesters and 3 classes in one semester. Every new faculty member starts with teaching classes that require only one preparation.

Business Context : It is essential that the candidate be socialized to business and have a strong understanding of how technical knowledge and capabilities are used to create and communicate actionable managerial insight to drive business outcomes. We strongly prefer candidates with substantial relevant work experience and/or research directly related to the practice of their discipline. The ideal candidate will be motivated to participate in courses and programs that are closely aligned with current and emerging business trends.

Scholarship : We seek teacher-scholars with a strong interest in research that is grounded in business practice. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in the use of analytics, information systems (IS), and technologies to drive business process change. • As part of the strategic recruitment plan, develop strong working avenues with outside resources in collaboration with Enrollment Communications.

We are seeking a Geographic Information Scientist with expertise in one or more of the following research areas applied to environmental science: remote sensing, geovisualization, big data, machine learning, web mapping, geospatial programming, LiDAR, Drone Technologies, and/or spatial modeling and analysis. Other computational/quantitative Geospatial research areas may also be considered. This position is connected to the University of San Francisco's Geospatial Analysis Laboratory (GsAL), which offers a certificate program in Geospatial Information Science (see www.usfca.edu/arts-sciences/research/geospatial-analysis-lab for more information).

Job Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in GIS, remote sensing, and GIS programming at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Depending on the successful candidate's area of expertise, additional courses could include cartography/geovisualization, big data/cloud computing, LIDAR, or drone technologies. The standard teaching load for this position is two 4-unit courses per semester with an additional third course every fourth semester (2-2-2-3 over two years). In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to engage in service to the department and college, as well as maintain an active research program that engages students when possible. The successful candidate will be expected to establish a research program focused on the integration of geospatial technologies with environmental science. The specific environmental application is open; we welcome applicants with research areas in climate science, ecology, hydrology, and air quality as well sustainable communities and environmental justice, among other topics associated with the application of geospatial science to environmental issues from local to global scales.

Minimum Qualifications: At the time of hire applicants must have a Ph.D. in an environmental science-related field with extensive experience in a geospatial science area or a Ph.D. in geospatial science with substantial application in an environmental science field. Maintains confidential membership lists, prepares agendas, sends notices, coordinates quarterly meetings, captures minutes, makes meeting arrangements, and provides administrative support in accordance with the established practices of the standing committees of the Board of Trustees.
• Provides administrative support to the University Council for Jesuit Mission. Compiles agendas, meeting packets, quarterly reports, presentations, and minutes of the meetings.
• Maintains discretion and confidentiality in relationships with trustees, major donors, president, and cabinet members.

Office Management
• Oversees office procedures, filing systems, space planning and off-site storage.
• Manages the Chancellor's direct voicemail and office mail. Posts notifications and announcements. Receives and screens a variety of calls. Takes information, answers inquiries, provides information using knowledge of University and its Jesuit Catholic educational mission.
• Plans, coordinates, and organizes office activities and coordinates with other administrative staff including the President's Office, Jesuit community and the Development Office.
• Purchase of office supplies using Hilltop Shop.
• Other duties and responsibilities:
• Provides occasional administrative support as needed to the Office of the President.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum of five years of administrative experience in an executive office; experience in a higher educational setting is preferred.
• Experience managing an executive-level calendar.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to prioritize among complex and competing expectations. Highly effective at time and task management, and prioritization.
• Project management skills, ability to plan, think through, carry out and assess multi-part projects.
• Ability to exercise a high level of diplomacy, discretion, emotional intelligence and confidentiality.
• Understanding and commitment to USF's Jesuit Catholic educational mission.
• Desire and commitment to work in the office to assist in the onboarding and ongoing success of the Chancellor in support of the University community. Occasional remote work to be considered.
• Advanced competency in using Google Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, task management and task sharing tool (Slack, etc). Banner and WorkDay experience preferred.
• Experience managing virtual meetings on Zoom.

A Dispatcher is responsible for maintaining effective and efficient communications between the campus law enforcement headquarters, campus patrol officers in the field, outside emergency and law enforcement agencies and the public by receiving, recording, and dispatching general and emergency information quickly, clearly and accurately. A dispatcher is required to work independently, react quickly, and demonstrate good judgment and discretion in stressful situations. The Communications Center is operated 24 hours a day and a dispatcher may be required to work various shifts any day of the week including holidays.

As part of the larger staff in Student Life, Public Safety employees collaborate and cooperate across divisions and departments to create a supportive University community which encourages student learning and development in the Jesuit Catholic tradition. Full Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:
• Operates various communications equipment including: Two-way radio system, emergency and non-emergency phones, Closed Circuit Television monitoring equipment, Alarm Monitoring equipment, and records management system ARMS/CAD (Computer Aided Dispatch).
• Utilizes Department Radio Codes
• Answer and screen incoming calls; converse with victims, witnesses, and citizens; elicit and record pertinent information.
• Dispatch officers via the two-way radio.
• Input and retrieve Public Safety reports, activity logs, and criminal information.

Minimum Requirements:
• High School Diploma required, college degree preferred.
• Prior Radio Communications or dispatching experience preferred.

• Successful completion of P.O.S.T. Dispatcher course should be completed within one year of appointment.
