The USPS OIG is seeking Entry Level Auditors or Audit Evaluators to fill positions within the Office of Audit, on the Information Technology Team, located in Eagan, MN and Raleigh, NC. The candidates will perform a variety of audit duties and reviews of the Postal Service's complex computer infrastructure to verify that its information resources provide the highest level of security, reliability, and value expected by their customers.
Candidates will be evaluated on the skills that they possess that are directly related to the duties of the position and/or the experience, education and training that indicate the applicant's ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position. Only those candidates who meet all qualification and eligibility requirements and who submit a complete application package by 11:59 PM EST on Monday, February 25, 2013 will be considered.
The USPS OIG uses a Pay Banding system, which is equivalent to the Federal GS scale. Grade and salary determinations will be made based upon a candidate's education and professional experience.
This position is being advertised at the Journey Band level, equivalent to a GS 05 to GS 07 level. This will be a Career Ladder with promotion potential to GS 13 equivalent at manager's discretion. The salary range, including locality pay, for this position is:
Eagan MN - $39,034 - $53,435
Raleigh NC - $32,270 - $51,969
