This individual will support the scaling of our US benefits offerings by providing excellent customer service externally and acting as a business partner internally.

The successful candidate will work closely with all sides of the organization and participate in related projects as needed.

This individual will report to the Director, US HR Operations. The team that this role is a part of is based out of the United States.

Responsibilities
• Administer the US benefits program, including enrollments, terminations, eligibility, billing from vendors, invoicing to clients, process mapping, audits, plan transfers, plan comparisons, and policy renewals
• Provide support to the operations and sales team, including joining calls with current clients and prospects, assisting with internal inquiries, and developing processes that minimize the time other departments spend on benefits-related tasks
• Assist with clients’ and supported employees’ inquiries, including claims assistance, and general coverage questions
• Accurately maintain the company's systems of record, including HRIS, NetSuite, Excel, Google Sheets, and external technology solutions
• Maintain an internal database focused on pricing, compliance, frequently asked questions, marketing materials, plan documentation, and other information relating to our US benefits offerings
• Manage daily relationships with benefits service providers, outsourced vendors, and brokers to ensure compliance with processes, requirements, laws, and service expectations
• Assist with benefits projects and planning, including plan establishment and compliance reviews
• Assist in the organization of transaction documents and benefit summaries, putting them into a standardized and clear format

Qualifications/Skills
• * Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• 1 + years of experience in administering US benefits.
• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking skills and initiative through individual research and drive
• Ability to work across different departments to achieve results beneficial to the larger team
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including strong execution, and timely and thorough follow-through and follow-up of tasks
• English language proficiency required.
• Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion, sound judgment, and diplomacy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, show adaptability and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy with strong attention to detail
• Technology literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and benefits-specific software
• Driven; a team player who brings his/her whole self to the role

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• Active CPA or CPA candidate preferred

• Experience with NetSuite and intermediate Excel skills is strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong understanding of US GAAP, accounting concepts, and financial statements
• Technical accounting experience and experience writing technical memos
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective interaction with all levels of personnel
• Great work ethic and attention to detail
• Adaptable to a changing, fast-paced work environment
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
