You will be joining a collection of content creators, innovators, disruptors, trend-setters and storytellers. Our marketing team is responsible for social... media management, paid digital advertising, email marketing, brand building, event curation, marketing consulting and overall revenue generating strategies to help our brands and clients grow. We are looking for Graphic Design interns to join our team this summer in Washington, DC,
Requirements:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of Photoshop, Canva, InDesign, Illustrator
• Adeptness with leading design software packages
• A determination to achieve and succeed
• Some creative industry experience
• The ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment
• A background of working as part of a design team
• The ability to see projects through from inception to production
• Consistency regardless of project size
• Good organizational skills that support the rest of the team
• The motivation to maintain and improve design standards
• The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
• Knowledge of video software (aftereffects, premier), 3D modeling and animation is a plus
Responsibilities:
• Helping to drive the creative direction of campaigns, an understanding of design principles and processes will be needed to help the team produce the best work possible
• Communication is a big part of the job, so the design intern must feel confident enough to contribute to the entire creative process. Keeping a finger on the pulse of current trends is also key when moving towards promotion and recognition.
• Offering input to creative meetings and sharing ideas
• Producing attractive and effective designs for all media
• Communicating with Design manager to receive feedback
• Liaising effectively with our different brands
• Supporting the team throughout the execution of campaigns and projects
• Create templates for various social media campaigns
• 20-25 hour commitment, 1 semester minimum (includes internship credit) with opportunity for full time employment
