In this context, Grid Solutions is looking for a Senior Project Manager HVDC who will oversee large packages part of a portfolio of several mega HVDC projects in Germany (contracts value > $1B).
The Senior Project Manager HVDC will be directly responsible for the engineering & equipment package delivery from our HVDC Product Delivery Group (worth several hundreds of million euros).
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for her/his project/work package on-time delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer... satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources. She/He will provide leadership to strategically manage risks & opportunities and ensure that the project/work package follows high standards in terms of quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Job Description
Major Responsibilities in details:
• Manage the Execution phase for a large GE work-package of one mega HVDC Project in Germany > 1B$
• Deliver on Environmental Health & Safety (‘EHS’), On-Time-Delivery (‘OTD’) and financial objectives (sales, margin, billing, cash) for the GE scope.
• Ensure Project Reviews governance in line GE Grid Solutions Operating rhythm with a key focus on Risks Management and related mitigation plans.
• Lead & coach a multi-cultural cross-functional project team composed of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Controls (cost & planning), Finance, Contract Management
• Project Execution Strategy: Based on the contract, contribute to implement the overall strategy for the execution of the project to achieve the project performance goals.
• Communication: represents GE towards the customer; controls and manages this interface and relationship. Manages the internal and external communication loop. Coordinate with consortium partner
• Project Organization: Sets up and secures the necessary resources for the execution of the project/work package. Support the organization of the project team.
• Performance Management: Constantly monitors and if requested reports the necessary key performances indicators (KPI). Takes immediately all necessary actions and decisions to guarantee financial, time, quality and safety performance to maximize project goals achievements.
• Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management: Establishes, implements and monitors the Project Quality Plan, Procedures, EHS Plan. Ensures best compliance with specification at lowest final cost.
• Claim Management: supports the strategy for managing claims, and directs actions accordingly. Addresses claims by deciding on actions and leading them in consideration of the defined strategy.
• Risk and Opportunities: Defines a Risk Management Plan. Constantly updates and reviews the risk and opportunities of the Project. Evaluates and decides on actions that benefit the overall performance of the Project. Follows-up these actions implementation and results.
• Project Planning: Develops and monitors the Master Time Schedule, manages Project float to ensure timely completion of the Project
• Exercise commercial and finance controls during the execution of the project with regular reporting and forecasting of project metrics and KPIs
• Ensure the coordination of technical support/engineering, manufacturing/supply and onsite construction resources.

Qualifications / Requirements:
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. Preferably a technical degree.
• Minimum of 10 years in project management of large and complex projects (+$100M minimum)
• Experience in HVDC technology

Tasks

As our Account Manager, you will:
• Be the face of Apryl for all client-related needs throughout the client lifecycle (implementation, launch and ongoing relationship)
• Lead end-to-end implementation of assigned... clients to help ensure seamless program launches and strong enrollment for each new client
• Serve as the voice of the client internally by bringing insights to enhance product development
• Maintain high level of client engagement, satisfaction and loyalty, as measured by high client satisfaction scores
• Manage client issues and escalations, collaborate with cross-functional teams such as member support, operations, product, and sales as required
• Provide member performance and program metrics on an ongoing basis to your client teams as part of regular meeting touchpoints throughout the year
• Own communications to meet mutually agreed upon goals, including but not limited to quarterly business reviews, external client meetings/events and other project plans; be prompt, responsive, and professional in all client-facing communications and interactions
• Convert clients into Apryl’s advocates, leveraging their successes for references, case studies, blogs, etc.
• Leverage data and analytics to expand and optimize programs
• Own renewals, upsells and support expansion opportunities for all assigned clients

Requirements
• 2-3 years of experience in an account management role in digital health, benefits or SaaS companies, or 1-2 years experience in strategy consulting
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; strong track record of high client satisfaction ratings
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly and influence internal and external stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal skills; building relationships comes natural to you - you always put a smile on a client’s face
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to understand data and present information to clients (Good knowledge of excel, e.g. creating reports with PivotTables, building charts and graphs)
• Track record of high client satisfaction ratings
• Experience in working with the full lifecycle of customer success post sales (implementation, product training, renewals, upsells, and account management)

This HR Business Partner position is based in Dresden office, with regular travel to Berlin colleagues.

Role and responsibilities

The HR Business Partner is primarily responsible for all HR matters on location Dresden. This includes deploying the HR strategy, programs and work place culture. You will develop quality initiatives and apply... practices positioning ASML Dresden as a great place to work to attract and retain talent. You are accountable for successful implementation and execution of policies and initiatives in the following functions: employee relations, employee development, recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits, policies and procedures.

You will work closely with the Europe HR expertise functions based in the Netherlands (C&B, recruitment and People Services)

Next to your role in Dresden, up to 50% of your time will be spend on supporting the Berlin team with participation in key HR projects. Since Berlin is only acquired end 2020, there are still a lot of HR integration project and initiatives running where you can add a lot of value in deployment. For this part you will work closely together with the HR team in Berlin.

You will report hierarchically into the head of HR Germany, who is based in Berlin and dotted into the HR BP Customer Support Europe and the Site manager Dresden.

• Define and execute the Dresden People Agenda in line with Sectors requirements and specific local business requirements.
• Initiate development of local updates/changes to global policies, processes, and systems within global framework and liaises with Global Expertise with respect to deviations.

• Support local management in the changing environment

Education and experience

Ideal Experience
• Several (5 plus) years of work experience in a large international company with a matrix structure, preferably in an international setting
• A strong HR generalist who has a variety of HR experience and is familiar with key elements such as recruitment, compensation & benefits, evaluation and promotion schemes, organizational development and management training as well as employee development

Personal skills
• A mature individual with high standards as an HR professional
• Results-oriented team player with business sense
• Open and accessible for employees and management at all levels
• Proactive and communicative personality; one who is able to act as a professional business partner in a demanding and very busy technology environment
