One application per applicant will be used for assessing internship candidates for currently open intern positions. This recruitment will also be used for future intern openings. This recruitment will close when all open positions are filled so applying early is encouraged. Interns may occasionally be assigned tasks for different Divisions. Interns, which are classified as, at-will, non-career employees, are allowed a maximum of 1,600 work hours available over a 12-month period, and are considered temporary, at-will employees who are not typically eligible for benefits. However, non-career employees may qualify for health coverage and sick leave accruals subject to applicable federal and state provisions.

DUTIES:
• Set up and breakdown of assigned station, including preparation of meats, seafood, vegetables, garnishes and other items required for line or special purposes for menus under the direction of the Chef on Duty.
• Prepare all food for shift, establishing portion control and presentation standards.
• Assist with preparation of other food products on serving line as needed.
• Return unused food products to proper storage areas.
• Cover, date and rotate items in walk in cooler. Utilizing FIFO
• Ensure that work station and equipment are clean and sanitary.
• Maintain highest sanitary standards in all areas.
• Adhere to state and local health safety regulations.
• Maintain security and safety in all work areas.
• Maintain neat professional appearance and observe personal cleanliness rules at all times.

• Manage and lead a talented team of culinary and service professionals to deliver exceptional dining experiences
• Highly visible to members and staff
• Complete daily/nightly reports at the completion of each shift including tip reporting to Accounting
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling of front of the house employees
• Monitors reservations, creates floor plans, seating charts and spread sheets
• Address and document both disciplinary concerns and achievements of employees
• Navigate and input on our scheduling platform, as well as reservations system
• Edit menus and print daily features
• Assist in the planning and executing of special events, tournaments, and private functions
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain cost controls to achieve budgetary goals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
• Monitor all dining areas and clubhouse facilities to ensure they are kept clean, organized, and safe
• Maintain a high standard of all staff appearance
• Ability to lift, carry or transport up to 40 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk frequently

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in food and beverage management in a private club
• Extensive Wine knowledge, preferably a level 2 Sommelier Certification

• Competency in Word, Publisher, and Excel spreadsheet creation and maintenance
