JOB SUMMARY:
Under general direction of the Vice President of Association & Tradeshow Sales, exercises independent judgment and initiative in managing high-level sales accounts. Responsibilities include promoting San Antonio as a convention, meeting, and incentive destination; securing definite commitment from associations, incentive planners, corporations, etc. to utilize hotel rooms and meeting facilities. May exercise functional supervision and development training over assigned support staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Responsible for handling major accounts with high priority.
· Identifies and maintains files on organizations or groups with convention potential, of which the majority are national or regional associations and corporations.
· Plans, develops, and supervises the promotion of hotel-only, as well as city-wide conventions.
· Prepares and gives presentations which illustrate the desirability of San Antonio as a convention destination.
· Meets with organization executive planners and conducts site inspections of hotels, meeting facilities, and visitor attractions to familiarize them with San Antonio.
· Staffs exhibit booths at trade and other association market shows.
· Assists with determining and developing account management strategies for the geographical territories.
· Develops budget and communication plans for major group events that are held within assigned geographical areas.
· Serves as liaison for key industry groups.
· May coordinate and supervise the work of other employees.
· Develops sales plan for major geographical markets.
· Plans, manages, and executes a pro-active sales effort.
· Prepares group leads for complex events that include the Convention Center and hotel partners.
· Coordinates complex site inspections with key customers.
· Maintains a communication strategy for high level accounts.
· Reserves space at Convention Center to accommodate major group functions.
· Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required to include creating plans and actions to achieve designated goals.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
· Two (2) years sales experience (excluding retail sales) in Convention and Visitors industry to include group coordination or hotel reservation.
· Valid Class 'C' Driver's License, or equivalent United States Driver’s License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Five (5) years sales experience with a Convention and Visitors Bureau or large hotel.
· Proven track record of selling to the Texas-area market.

Job Summary
Primary function is to provide nursing care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, for patients of all ages in their place of residence, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/family and referring agency
Job Qualifications
• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing.
• Licensure: Current Texas State license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse, current Texas Drivers License.
• Experience: Two years experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in a clinical care setting, hospice preferred
• Skills: Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Good interpersonal skills.
• Transportation: Reliable transportation. Valid and current auto liability insurance.
Essential Functions
• Under the direction of the RN, assist in identifying the patient’s physical, psycho social, and environmental needs as evidenced by documentation, clinical record, team report, and evaluations.
• Participate in planning and implementing care in conjunction with the RN, in accordance with the POC.
• Applies concepts of infection control and standard precautions in coordinating/performing patient care activities to prevent contamination and transmission of disease.
• Assure the continuity of care through delivery of quality patient care.
• Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other health care professionals as evidenced by clinical notes, case conferences, communication notes, and evaluations.
• Monitor assigned cases to ensure compliance with requirements of third party payor.
• Demonstrate commitment, professional growth and competency.
• Promote Agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care.
You will travel to patients homes or facilities in which they reside to perform their assessments.
You will be responsible for your own time management and schedule through out the week.
Environmental and Working Conditions
Works in patient’s home in various conditions; possible exposure to blood and bodily fluids and infectious diseases; ability to work flexible schedule; ability to travel locally; some exposure to unpleasant weather. Must have Hepatitis profile.
Physical and Mental Effort
Prolonged standing and walking required, with ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move patients. Requires working under some stressful conditions to meet deadlines and patient needs, and to make quick decisions and resource acquisition; meet patient/family individualized psycho social needs. Requires hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
