POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for operating material handling equipment to receive, store and transport raw materials and finished goods into, and throughout the production facility. This role is responsible for performing electronic inventory transactions using the business ERP system.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Safely off load inbound materials from delivery trucks
• Safely put away product in storage locations as required using SAP.
• Load customer orders onto outbound trucks
• Accurately issue goods material to production using SAP as required.
• 5S the logistics areas as required.
• Work with different material handling equipment. E.g., Forklift, pallet jack, etc.
• Work in accordance with production schedules and communicated priorities.
• Responsible for safe handling of material unloading, storage and material movements activities.
• Work within a computer guided inventory system
• Basic receiving under the direction of an LSA.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Performing all related tasks as assigned by Management.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Forklift Driving Certification, material handling, and OSHA courses or training.
