What you will be responsible for:

• Partner with field sales teams to ensure day to day execution and support of key account initiatives

Who you are:

• Have established business cadence and relationships within Sam’s Club vertical.
• Prior experience using Retail Link (DSS) for pulling and reviewing data.
• Motivated, adaptable, a team player and a self-starter.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing company with the ability to adapt to change quickly.
• Takes initiative and proactively looks for and suggests process improvements.
• Are an active listener with strong negotiating / problem solving skills with a dose of humility.
• Highly Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Compensation:

Role:

We are looking for a high energy, focused, and dynamic REPLENISHMENT MANAGER – WALMART & SAM’S CLUB to join the sales Operations team. This position will be embedded as part of the Walmart/Sam’s Sales team and engage with both Walmart/Sam’s Buying and Inventory Teams as well as Vital Proteins’ employees regarding management of customer inventory levels, order-to-cash processing, manufactured inventory conditions, transportation plans and shipment tracking. The Replenishment Manager, Walmart & Sam’s Club will serve as the Retail Link SME and point of account transportation/logistics communications with internal stakeholders as well as between our customers’ procurement and logistic teams. Daily communications regarding inventory conditions & movement occur between VP departments including Sales, Order Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Transportation and Production. This role will work closely with other team members to secure a working knowledge of our Strategic customers as may be required for vacation, holiday & back-up coverage. This role is a true partner to the sales team and will be embedded in both the Sales Operation and National Account Management teams.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management
• Lead and manage retail customer replenishment and supply chain
• Provide industry and functional expertise to guide internal teams to meet external retailer expectations
• Lead customer facing supply chain representation for the sales team to attend monthly and quarterly business reviews. Ensuring a single point of contact for our customers and continuously striving to improve service to the customers
• Ensuring that OTIF goals are met and manage fines and penalties to understand how to best correct and resolve current issues for the future.
• Relationship owner and sales liaison to demand, logistics, transportation, and QA cross functional teams.
• Collaboration with 3rd party consolidators (RJW) to manage inventory levels and operational efficiency.
• Drive service excellence: analyze/interpret customer service level information to facilitate proactive improve
• Publish critical management reports on in-stock, on-time, and inventory level compliance, fill rates and scorecards.
• Analyze, support, and develop overall strategies to support customer’s needs (both internal and external).
• Execute business processes related to order cycle, forecasting, promotional activity, claims, returns, deductions, etc.
• Provide program sell thru and promotional lift analysis on retailer activations
• POS reporting for weekly, quarterly and annual updates

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the industry (in CPG industry)
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Walmart and Sam’s Club
• Proven track record of transforming systems and organizations for identifying issues and improvement in processes
• Experience in high level strategy creation and deployment
• Hold a Bachelor s degree.
• Passionate about the health, fitness, and/or beauty markets.
