The Business Development Manager will act as the key link between Vitux and our customers in... the dietary supplement and nutraceutical category. As the main channel for customer engagement and support, this position will be responsible for building momentum with new and existing accounts through the development and implementation of account plans and strategies. As a Sales Representative your goal is to maximize sales growth in North America by attracting new customers, and managing our current customer database to increase sales and expand the visibility and awareness of our company’s ConCordix® products.

This is a dynamic position and will collaborate closely with the Americas Business Development Team, our corporate offices in Oslo, and our Global Marketing Director. We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, open-minded, and business goal-directed Business Development Manager, who can thrive in a fast-paced business environment.

In this role your responsibilities include:
• Cultivate and deliver new business revenue opportunities with existing customers and new customer pipelines.
• Identify new prospects, contact, and develop company sales campaigns in close collaboration with the team to improve the customer’s knowledge about ConCordix®.
• Effectively manage the North American accounts with detailed records of all contacts through the CRM system.
• Achieve established sales targets; provide regular analysis of variance +/- budget/forecast.
• Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, from RFQ to delivery.
• Develop sales forecasts for the 2-3 year business plan.
• Analyze market trends and developments to support strategic direction for North American growth.
• Coordinate projects between clients and several internal departments (i.e. R&D, SCM, QA, and Operations).
• Act as the face of the company to build strong customer partnerships.

Qualifications:
• Minimally 5 years of sales experience, with a proven sales track record within the Nutraceutical Industry.
• Experience in the FDMC channel (preferred).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and selling skills.
• Self-driven sales professional motivated by the opportunity to succeed.
• Bachelor- or Masters’ degree, in business or life sciences.
• Location preferably Mid-West to West-Coast, but also Windsor, Canada where we have one of our Vitux offices.
