Job Summary:
We are looking for a Director of Strategy and Business Development to join VOAOK. The Director of Strategy and Business Development serves as a business partner to the CEO and drives the overall strategic growth of VOAOK. The DOBD will assist with the development and growth opportunities that generate a positive change for our clients and communities as well as help raise the agency’s profile to ensure overall agency performance. Additionally, the DOBD will be charged with assisting with the innovation and development of new market opportunities alongside the CEO.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead strategic growth opportunities.
• Help identify strategic risks and provide analysis for potential programs.
• Cultivate a deep understanding of what makes the agency successful and how it will continue to be successful.
• Help oversee strategic business proposal development and responses while leading a culture of innovation across the agency.
• Look for opportunities to expand existing programs based on need and/or assist in the launch of new programs and funding initiatives.
• Lead implementation of strategic initiatives leveraging emerging technology, innovative service models, and trends in the non-profit service field.
• Identify joint ventures, potential merger and acquisition targets, and other strategic partnership opportunities in coordination with the CEO.
• Pilot innovative initiatives and evaluate impact.
• Partner and collaborate with VOA National and other VOA affiliates regarding strategic and innovative program development and research.
• Provide external leadership, visibility, and expertise regarding programs.
• Assist in establishing the agency as a recognized innovation leader to build the brand.
• Perform other, job-related, duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
• A successful track record of working collaboratively within a wide array of internal and external constituents, partners, funders and the public.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively in public settings.
• Excellent public presentation skills.
• Excellent skills with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Data base management skills.
• Ability to analyze data to inform decision making.
Experience:
• Five years progressive experience in related field strongly preferred.
• Experience with local, state, and federal funding streams required.
• Experience in one of more of the populations served within the VOAOK human service programs: the homeless, the aging, individuals with intellectual and development disabilities, money management services, employment services and veteran services required.
• Experience with program and organizational quality assurance, compliance and accreditation required.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a healthcare field required, Master’s Degree preferred.

We are seeking a caring, reliable, punctual and hard-working individual to act as Housekeeper at our residential facility in Spring Valley, CA.
Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, the Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility including routine housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
About the Facility:
The Troy Center for Supportive Living is a licensed board and care facility for adults who struggle with chronic mental illness and disabling conditions. The 40-bed supportive living program offers individuals shelter and supportive services, including: meals, snacks, medication management, laundry services, transportation to doctor appointments and outings in the community. We also provide life skill classes and individual sessions.
Key Duties:
+ Maintains clean and sanitary conditions of residents rooms and common areas including all restrooms.
+ Maintains cleanliness of all windows, blinds, furniture, closets, floors and carpeted areas, including stripping and polishing floors, and steam cleaning carpets as needed.
+ Maintains cleanliness of grounds including parking lot and smoking area.
+ Makes recommendations to Program Manager on necessary housekeeping and maintenance repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility improvements.
+ Maintains adequate cleaning supplies.
+ Reports any unusual incidents, including resident behaviors to the Program Manager.
+ Performs any other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
Requirements:

+ Must have the ability to pass a TB test, drug screen, and health screening.
+ Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
