Your primary responsibility will be lead the instructor team, and to ensure we have the right people in the right place, with the right support, including scheduling, coordinating the curriculum, and working closely with our team of web development instructors to ensure our students are set up for successful careers in the tech industry when they graduate.
You are naturally outgoing, well organized, and a self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told what to do. You are highly empathetic, and feel comfortable coaching and inspiring our instructors and students. You will be leading a global team of instructors, working with a student success manager, admissions team, and reporting directly to the senior leadership.
You should have a solid understanding of web development technologies, and ideally have some level of experience as an instructor. You have a deep passion for learning with significant real-world experience. Educational experience is a bonus, especially within bootcamps, as is a technical background and knowledge of software engineering.
Above all - you have a great attitude and love working with and supporting people.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Managing our team of instructors to coordinate the successful delivery of the programmes, including scheduling, managing communications, and liaising with learners to support them in successfully securing employment on graduation.
• Helping to ensure an exceptional overall student learning experience, using our active project-based learning approach, and the curriculum materials provided.
• Maintain and update the web development syllabus and curriculum, including learning objectives, homework assignments, assessments and projects.
• Hiring, managing and supporting our instructors to ensure they are consistently delivering an outstanding learning experience/
• To provide compassionate, constructive feedback to instructors, as well as coaching and inspiring them to help them reach their full potential.
• Actively contribute to our growing global community, and work with all or the other members of the global team to ensure the success of our students and partners.
• Organizing and helping to facilitate workshops, including resourcing, customizing workshop materials, workshop evaluation documentation, etc.
• Providing general customer service and creating value for all of our stakeholders, team, learners, customers, partners and industry clients.
• Generating progress/update reports.
• Managing team calendars and training schedules.
• Any other reasonable responsibilities as the need arises.

About The Role
This is a fully remote, part-time role (weekday evenings, plus some Saturday mornings), and we are hiring in both the US and UK / European time zones.
You will be leading a cohort of 30 students, and playing a leading role teaching our software engineering bootcamp - run over 6 months, fully online, teaching and mentoring in the evenings for 6 to 9 hours per week, with some additional support hours (12 hours per week).
You will be joining a global network of instructors, trainers and community managers, and will be working closely with the team at W3 Schools and our team. We have a curriculum in place that has been delivered to hundreds of students already, and have the support of a library of hundreds of existing online tutorials and an IDE that the students will use for their projects.
You will deliver the program online through synchronous learning sessions, while also working with our Community Managers and other instructors to support and develop our students with messaging and support via our online platform and community channels.
