• Acts as primary enrollment contact for students and instructors, registering students, managing enrollment processes, and maintaining communication via phone, email, and in-person. Delivers excellent customer service providing guidance about future pathways and class offerings to prospective and current students
• Prepares and submits forms and end of class paperwork to the Registrar, meeting required deadlines consistent with the requirement of Workforce Continuing Education open enrollment programs and auditing guidelines for all class related withdraws, transfers, drops and refunds. Completes administrative tasks to deliver section’s files to our Office of Registrar auditing team in an accurate and timely matter
• Processes registrations request in collaboration with the Office of Registrar. Emails students the class details and account activation instructions. Coordinates class payments for students who do not qualify for a fee waiver or process sponsorship letters. Processes census date and end of the class paperwork. Requests removal of students and grades class to be verified by the Office of Registrar
• Prepares instructions, rosters and any materials needed for instructors for classes. Ensures all instructors receive textbooks, duplication, audio visual, and administrative support. Maintains organization of files in SharePoint and Teams
• Generates contracts, contract amendments, and processes instructional payroll
Responds to instructor and student concerns and questions and serves as a liaison between the student, instructors, and CPD leadership
Develops and manages operational procedures for Career & Professional Development
Provides operational onboarding for new staff and instructors on CPD and Wake Tech processes
Assists Associate Director with data collection and analytics of CPD data for classes & events, creates reports and summaries of classes, service utilization, and satisfaction
Updates and supports an intranet site within CPD to centralize documentations and links using Share Point for collaboration
Maintains course material inventory for all CPD classes
Responsible for obtaining, verifying, and processing instructor information, and maintaining instructor files to ensure documentation to evidence competency and maintain teaching credentials
Assists with Career Services events, open houses, and community outreach events as assigned

• Perform client work using a variety of technologies and skills (e.g., maintenance, development, analysis, testing, various development languages, databases, platforms)
• Learn technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, and Ruby.
• Work on multiple concurrent projects
• Work closely with the Exelaration leads and mentors who provide task management and quality assurance for all projects the team members work on.
Key Attributes for a Successful Candidate:
• Enrolled in Computer Science, Software/Comp Engineering, Business Information Technology, Decision Support Systems, or related program
• Success in coursework on fundamentals of software development practices including at least one development language
• GPA of 3.0 or higher
