Scope of Work:
• Design, build, and maintain websites using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media;
• Perform or direct website updates;
• Write, design or edit web page content, or coordinate with others producing content;
• Confer with Department Management or the Department Web Development Team Leadership to prioritize projects, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or recommend solutions;
• Identify web service issues uncovered by testing or customer feedback and correct or refer problems to the appropriate personnel for correction;
• Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems;
• Maintain understanding of current web design technologies and programming practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups;
• Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types; and
Qualifications:
• 2 or more years of experience designing web pages using HTML and CSS;
• 2 or more years of general Graphic Design experience using Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator;
• 2 or more years of experience with JavaScript;
• 2 or more years of experience with JQuery;
• Experience in designing sites for a mobile environment;
• Experience in Adobe Dreamweaver;
• Experience testing websites with multiple browsers and device specifications; and
• Experience preparing briefings and status reports for management.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with Content Management Systems;
• Experience working with web design frameworks such as Bootstrap, Foundation, and Angular;
• Experience designing websites and PDF files;
• Experience editing PDF files using Adobe Acrobat;
• Experience with Adobe InDesign;
• Experience in Web Application development with PHP or [website];
• Experience with SQL Server 2012/2016;
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field, or 2 or more years of equivalent work experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
