The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of various federal commercial business (B2B), government agencies (B2G) and their Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, experience performing PTW analysis leading to the development of price and non-price evaluation targets and be able to deliver PTW recommendations to impact winning strategies for competitive business opportunities.
JOB SUMMARY:
The PTW Analyst is a self-motivated individual who can work both independently and as a team player, possessing a unique skill set of technical, financial, business, strategic and analytical skills. The Analyst will coordinate with the business development capture team to analyze opportunity requirements, customer budgets, evaluation criteria, customer award trends, competitive landscape, and model potential competitor solutions to develop competitive price and non-price bid strategies and targets.
Qualified candidates should understand the government and commercial procurement processes, the business development capture cycle, and have experience working on proposals with capture teams. Essential skills for this position include familiarity with compiling and summarizing competitive intelligence research and analysis using market research tools & database subscriptions, as well as supporting post-award win/loss lessons learned analyses to create and enhance CI/PTW database.
Qualified candidates should understand the following System types include the following but not limited to:
• Check point CT systems
• Checkpoint x-ray systems
• Explosive Detection Systems (EDS)
• Automatic tray return systems (ATRS)
• Explosive trace detection systems (ETD)
• Millimeter wave technology passenger screening (MMW).
Successful candidates will be able to work simultaneously on multiple projects and resolve conflicting priorities as new opportunities arise. Assignments will require some knowledge and understanding of business, technology, engineering disciplines and financial cost models and the ability to coordinate with subject matter experts to include their knowledgeable input into the PTW product.
The PTW Analyst must have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to support capture reviews and present PTW recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 8 years of relevant industry experience or a master's degree and minimum of 6 years. Additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.
• A minimum of 2-3 years providing Position-to-Win analyses and assessments
• Cost modeling experience and understanding of financial strategies
• Understanding of Business Development capture processes
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with multiple deadlines and changing priorities
• Ability to produce high-quality material with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft SharePoint, and ability to learn new applications
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience with International and commercial customers and competitors
• Proficiency with market research tools and databases such as GovWin, DACIS, BGOV, FPDS or USASpending.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $84,500.00 - $130,000.00 - $175,500.00

Purpose of the Position
The Director of External Communications is a vital member of the Executive Office, working with the Development team, as well as the Policy & Planning team. The role works closely with the various Win teams, and Win's Public Affairs consulting service. The Director of External Communications will develop and implement the plan for Win's external communications including social media content, print materials, donor communications, and advocacy efforts. This position will also work collaboratively with the Director of Internal Communications in ensuring alignment and flow of information to all stakeholders in a seamless and coordinated way.
Responsibilities:
• Create, with the SVP Development, a comprehensive and ongoing strategic communications plan in terms of messaging/content, vehicles for communications, social media and public relations.
• Run Win's relationship with its Public Affairs firm in its entirety, identifying and strategizing on earned media opportunities, coordinating any necessary collateral and/or interagency participation in such opportunities.
• Define and refine messages/themes for use in marketing materials, such as those for fundraising, advocacy, and other external purposes, to reflect both earned media and marketing strategies.
• Run Win's social media, manage and track the scheduling, posting, monitoring, and tracking of social media (IG, FB, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Implement branding strategies for Win's website, collateral materials, logos, stationery, and more.
• Review all edited material from internal and external sources to ensure current organization website editorials are accurate.
• Communicate with Win leadership concerning new campaigns, review outgoing communications and work with the fundraising team on communication to board members and donors.
• With Internal Communications Director, establish relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Serve as the website manager to oversee content and overall maintenance.

• contribute and assist with the writing of content for the website.
• interview program staff for and write profiles for donor communications.
• compile and edit bios for the website.
• Refresh the website 2/3 times a year.
• Create and shape a regular Win eNewsletter for donors and other Win constituencies.

• Organize and maintain the communications calendar.
• Follow press activity and news across homelessness issues.
• Provide staffing support to development team (day and evening events as needed)
• Photographing as needed for events and publications and maintaining the photo database.

Essential Functions:
• Must have outstanding written, verbal, and social communication skills
• Must have expertise in social media publication and production
• Must be proficient on graphic software such as Adobe, Canva, PowerPoint, etc.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS plus 5-7 years of experience in communications/marketing, online organizing, or content creation required.

Purpose of the Position
The Director of External Communications is a vital member of the Executive Office, working with the Development team, as well as the Policy & Planning team. The role works closely with the various Win teams, and Win's Public Affairs consulting service. The Director of External Communications will develop and implement the plan for Win's external communications including social media content, print materials, donor communications, and advocacy efforts. This position will also work collaboratively with the Director of Internal Communications in ensuring alignment and flow of information to all stakeholders in a seamless and coordinated way.
Responsibilities:
• Create, with the SVP Development, a comprehensive and ongoing strategic communications plan in terms of messaging/content, vehicles for communications, social media and public relations.
• Run Win's relationship with its Public Affairs firm in its entirety, identifying and strategizing on earned media opportunities, coordinating any necessary collateral and/or interagency participation in such opportunities.
• Define and refine messages/themes for use in marketing materials, such as those for fundraising, advocacy, and other external purposes, to reflect both earned media and marketing strategies.
• Run Win's social media, manage and track the scheduling, posting, monitoring, and tracking of social media (IG, FB, Twitter, LinkedIn).
• Implement branding strategies for Win's website, collateral materials, logos, stationery, and more.
• Review all edited material from internal and external sources to ensure current organization website editorials are accurate.
