Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Direct Support Professional for the LWJ Agency Day Program located in Newton, NJ. As a Direct Support Professional you will be responsible for assisting individuals with disabilities to learn soft social and job skills .
5 days a week with some weekends .
40 hours a week
8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Salary based on experience
Background check, drug testing,
clean driving record and
DDD training Required.

Qualifications
• Required High School degree or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and pushing
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Experience working in a healthcare field, such as nursing or social work, is a plus
• Certifications in First Aid, CPR or other related healthcare fields are a plus
