Summary:

The Project Manager is a position that provides support to the sales team, clients, and operations team through efficient management of furniture related projects in the Hospitality Industry.

Responsibilities:
• Actively and effectively communicates with internal sales, marketing, and operations staff regarding project quotes, order, and post-delivery related concerns.
• Manages projects related to the proposal, order, manufacturer, and logistics of custom products the company manufacturers.
• Responsible for delivering quotes, engineered drawings, revision requests, samples and any other pre-order requirements in the timeframe required or committed.
• Communicates to customers effectively and efficiently on all aspects of their project to ensure all project team members are aligned throughout the project timeline.
• Follows company SOPs related to project updates, status, and communication in company database.
• Ensures that all project documentation is reviewed and recorded accurately in the company database.
• Works closely with and collaborates with Woodcraft team overseas.
• Consult with clients (as needed or requested) when manufacturing advice through the lens of a designer will be helpful to achieve the design intent.
• Provides project updates to all relevant internal and external customers.
• Provides weekly reports to internal project team members as well as the associated sales rep and leadership team.

Minimum Requirements:
• The technical nature of this position requires an experienced individual with a proven track record of managing several complex project simultaneously and successfully.
• The project management role requires a strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve for optimal resolution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional proficiency.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a project manager or project coordinator in a similar or related capacity within the hospitality industry preferred.
• Proficient in reviewing, understanding, and communicating AutoCAD drawings, furniture plans/elevations/details, FF&E specifications, shop drawings and related tools used develop product design and engineering.
• Basic understanding of wood, wood veneers, construction methods of furniture, and terminology used in manufacturing furniture.
• Working with the MS Office Suite of products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• 4 Year Degree Preferred

• A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn.
• Previous management experience (1-2+ years is ideal).
• Excellent people skills.
• Knowledge of Excel, Word/Google Docs. Learning new technology and software must be something you are willing to and already know how to do. We use a back-office software (Microsoft Dynamics 365) to place orders, do payroll, etc. Our managers must use this software daily.
• Knowledge of woodworking and its various uses/crafts is a plus but not necessary.
• Must be willing to learn how to operate a forklift.

Program Strategy Execution: Actively involved in executing the strategic plan for educational programs.
