- Create and implement engaging lesson plans for students
- Provide instruction and guidance to students in various subjects
- Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure discipline when necessary
- Assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance the learning experience
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students, such as babysitting, nannying, or caregiving
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Patience and understanding when working with diverse student populations
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques

WordPLAY is seeking a speech language pathologist to join our team of highly skilled practitioners. As a speech language pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive speech therapy services to K-12 students, helping them overcome communication disorders and achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders, as well as strengths and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs and goals
• Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions to address a wide range of communication disorders, including articulation disorders, language delays, phonological disorders, etc.
• Employ a play-based and engaging approach to make therapy sessions interactive and enjoyable for children
• Collaborate closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to therapy
• Regularly monitor and evaluate students' progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and client records
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP)
• Florida Department of Health licensure as a speech language pathologist
• Experience working with school-age children and addressing various speech and language disorders
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, therapeutic techniques, and evidence-based practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping children achieve their communication goals
