MANAGER - Food and Beverage, QSR (Quick Service Restaurants)
Position reports to Area Restaurant Manager
Position is Site-Based; No Remote opportunity available
• Manager level is responsible for both revenue and non-revenue businesses; Manager level is driven by a size and/or complexity of scope which requires more technical/leadership expertise, including but not limited to:
• Responsible for creating an integrated Guest Experience within a functional area of the Aulani F&B Line of Business.
• Experience as a Leader of Leaders or First Time Leader of Leaders
• Develop, execute, and sustain the operational vision of a functional area, leveraging the overall strategic vision of the site and/or geographic region. Translate and integrate the vision into strategic operating plans focused on innovation and continuous process improvements. Plans should drive enhanced Guest, Cast and financial results taking into account the current competitive environment and growing expectations of our Guest and Cast.
• Provide functional subject matter expertise to Area Leader and partner with F&B Director to drive functional expertise within area.
• Manage all financial profit and operating expenses including revenue generation, cost containment and resource optimization for the functional area. Oversee budgets, labor management, etc. Actively contribute to the preparation of the annual operating plan. Provide input to MGOI and IFP plans.
• Interpret and utilize metrics and operational indicators to measure, motivate and enhance performance.
• Serve as a change agent, taking calculated risks to integrate processes, remove barriers and align performance goals. Influence key partners and Cast to ensure execution of the strategic plans.
• Drive innovation and optimization efforts as a leader of the Operating team and support a One Site mind set to ensure seamless and continuous Guest experiences.
• They will ensure operational compliance to WDP&R Standards and Loss Prevention Standards with adherence to State of Hawaii DBPR and WDP&R Food Safety Standards.
• Serve as a representative and agent of the Aulani & Disney brand.
• Understand how to leverage the Aulani Resort and Disney history/heritage to drive innovative business solutions.
• Foster a positive environment that builds community and trust by supporting the delivery of Five Keys Basics and modeling the Disney Leader Basics. Serve as a leader and teacher of excellence in safety, courtesy, inclusion, show and efficiency. Serve as a leader that teaches and instills Aulani Values of Kaulike, Kuleana, Laulima, Mālama and ‘Olu‘olu.
• Serve as a leader that instills the Disney Culture of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Demonstrated ability to manage outlets within a complex
• Proven three years of management experience
• Previous revenue responsibility of $6M annually
• Previous experience in Table Service restaurants and Lounges
• Demonstrated wine and spirit knowledge
• Demonstrated business acumen
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Demonstrated passion of Guest service and Cast development
• Demonstrated ability to improve operational processes and efficiencies
• Demonstrated strong partnering, organizational, and decision making skills

Responsibilities :
The Dive Technician will serve as primary support for all Animal Programs dive activities, including guest programs such as SAS and Underwater Explorers which may require the use of video and/or photography equipment as well. Duties will also include, but are not limited to, monitoring animal habitats and diving to clean animal habitats. Duties include cleaning and debris removal from animal habitats as well as upkeep of equipment pads used for water treatment and handling of dive gear used for both guest and team programs. Basic animal husbandry tasks such as food preparation, animal feeds, guest fish feeding programs, clean-up of areas, and rotation of decon-tub items will be assigned as needed. This role ensures adherence to dive safety, strict water quality guidelines, which is the basis of our aquatic animal health program, and excellent guest service.
Basic Qualifications :
- Knowledge of Basic Chemistry
- Biology, & Physics concepts
- Ability to interface in a positive & productive manner with peripheral teams -(Ex. Animal Programs Husbandry and Maintenance Support Groups)
- Demonstrate ability to calmly deal with problem issues
- Demonstrate excellent record keeping & documentation skills
- Ability to Work in a Team Environment
- Exemplary Attendance Pattern
- Knowledge of PC based software including Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to positively interact with guest of Aulani - A Disney Resort and Spa
- NAUI Scuba Instructor Certification
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated strong partnering skills
- Proven water filtration background a plus with an understanding of Filters, Valves, Pumps and Disinfection processes
- Demonstrated ability to share creative and new ideas
- Proven understanding of SCADA control systems
- Ability to troubleshoot inaccuracies and malfunctioning system components to isolate problem areas. Report mechanical discrepancies to the facilities team and leadership
- Ability to organize work and to set priorities; has basic multi-tasking skills
