Our ideal candidates have an enthusiasm for antiques and collectibles. Our current writers include amateur collectors, eBay and Etsy sellers, thrifters, dealers, restorers, appraisers, and auctioneers.
What you will do:
• Write informative articles and/or blog posts on antiques, collectibles, art, and related subjects as assigned by an editor. Articles vary from 400 words to 1200 words.
• Follow the formatting guidelines outlined in our Writers Guide.
• Edit your work if requested.
• Submit invoices for your work in a timely fashion.

Required skills:
• Fluent in English
• Must know Microsoft Word and Microsoft Word Editor. Knowledge of Grammarly a plus.
• Familiarity with Google advanced search features.
• Have a clear, concise, and informative writing style.

Pay and benefits:
Our writers earn from a few hundred dollars to over $1,000 USD per month. Actual earnings are determined by productivity. WorthPoint pays for articles according to the following schedule:
• Article: $100/each. 800-1200 words on approved evergreen topics related to antiques and collectibles. Articles must include three or more relevant, usable images.
• Spotlight: $50/each. 450-750 words on approved evergreen topics related to antiques and collectibles. Spotlights must include three or more relevant, usable images.
• Dictionary page: 450-750 words. Word counts may vary by topic$50/each for up to 20 in a month. A bonus of $200 is paid for reaching 20 in a month. Above 20, Dictionary pages pay $60/each. Topics are assigned by an editor.
• News item: $25/each. 200-400 words on a current event, as assigned or approved by an editor.

Plus, all active writers receive:
• A full-access subscription to WorthPoint.com, valued at $39.99/month.
• Full author credit within each article, including their company name and an active link back to their professional website or social media pages.
• Permission to post links and snippets to your WorthPoint articles on your website, Facebook, or other pages.

Through an understanding of our customers, their needs, and our current and future product capabilities, the Product Marketing Manager builds the WorthPoint go-to-market plans for product launches and major updates. Responsibilities also include creating email/CRM, social media assets, creative briefs, and additional ad hoc project work. Focus on marketing operations with content calendars, looking at the holistic process, and making informed recommendations to senior leaders. Uses analytics to report on program results, and glean insights, and make recommendations.

Duties:

● Act as Marketing’s interface with the Product Developmentteam

● Quickly develops intimate hands-on knowledge of our product’s features and functionality. Utilizes this knowledgeto provide detailed product improvements.

● Works in conjunction with the Marketing Team to support quarterly, strategic, and ad hoc marketingplans.

● Implements and activates comprehensive marketing plans. Execution areas include email/CRM, paid media, field activations, social media, promotional execution, events coordination.

● Manages creative development process for campaign collateral. This includes managing projects from start to finish, providing feedback on creative concepts, reviewing final proofs for accuracy, and reporting and measuring campaign success.

● Recommends and develops promotional campaigns to meet subscriber objectives.

● Tracks and analyzes campaign effectiveness, along with developing testing and optimization plans. Maintains monthly reporting dashboard.

● Uses WorthPoint toolset for valuation and listing. Provides detailed feedback to marketing and tech teams onfeatures and suggested improvements.

Required Skills and Abilities:

● Background or interest in art, antiques, and collectibles

● Proficiency in Microsoft and Google officeapplications

● Strong project management – ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

● Knowledge of Collecting, eBay Selling, Estate Sales, and/orAuctions

● Ability to quickly learn the WorthPoint business and collectingdomain

● Hard-working team player who has a passion for delighting customers

● Obsessive attention to detail

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

● Growth and Content Marketing experience

● Strong communication skills- written and oral

● MailChimp or SalesForce Marketing Cloud experience a plus

● Advertising/marketing agency experience would be very helpful

Education and Experience:

● Bachelor’s Degreerequired

● 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, product or product marketing

● Having actively appraised and or sold products online (eBay, Etsy, Poshmark, etc.) is a plus

● Prior experience as a product marketer

● Certification through Pragmatic Institute or Product Marketing Alliance preferred

NOTE: Remote work Monday and Friday, in-office Tuesday-Thursday

SALARY RANGE: $75,000 - $85,000
