The Opportunity – Senior Vice President of Client Services (Remote - USA / CANADA)
Delight customers with world client services for entertainment specific needs. This role will own client facing operations including domestic & international payroll, production tax incentives, pension & health remittance, union timecard calculations, workers compensation insurance administration, labor relations, etc. This is an extremely critical function for the company and will require close collaboration across functions.
What you'll do:
• Provide a delightful experience that entices customers to want to use Wrapbook
• Leverage and empower a strong bench of directors across workers compensation, labor relations, and payroll with a team of ~20 employees
• Keep clients and ourselves compliant internationally, across states, and unions
• Scale our internal operations and team to keep pace with the volume and complexity of our business and client needs
• Partner with product on building features to solve customer needs and tooling for the payroll operations teams to operate more efficiently
What you'll have:
• Ability to dive deep into opportunities you have yet to come across, understand the crux of the matter, and build teams & processes to solve it holistically
• Setup systems to scale human driven processes to deliver a consistent quality in a fast paced environment
• Experience of managing 50-100 person organizations of happy employees who are excelling in their careers

• Identify and resolve complex payroll and tax issues on behalf of our customers
• Demonstrate expertise in taxable and pretax earnings and deductions and their impact on wages and payroll tax return
• Basic understanding of accounting principles as it relates to payroll accounts
• Comfortable with ambiguity and the need to create processes and procedures based on best practices
• Ensure all processes and policies are executed based on standards and procedures while putting in place tools that reduce manual intervention and increase efficiency.
• Build strong cross functional relationships, influence partners, and establish common goals and objectives without sacrificing outcomes.
• Understand target audiences and translate complex concepts into clear and concise messages
• Stay up to date with industry changes and communicate internally
• A proactive approach and the ability to work independently or as part of a team as required
What You'll Have:
• 7+ years of experiencing leading a payroll operations team (preferably at another payroll service provider)
• 7+ years of experience leading payroll tax operations
• Production/Film industry payroll is a big plus
• PEO and/or EOR experience a plus
• Analytical mindset, critical thinking, problem-solving skills are a must
• Ability to influence across the organization and empower your team to do their best work
• Tech Savvy individual with intermediate experience in G-suite and Excel
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills required.
• A cool and calm demeanor even when working toward tight deadlines.
• Strong customer service mindset with a focus toward an exceptional customer experience
• Comfortable working in a fully remote environment

• 7+ years of experiencing leading a payroll operations team (preferably at another payroll service provider)
• 7+ years of experience leading payroll tax operations
• Production/Film industry payroll is a big plus
