Qualified candidates must be able to write creative and engaging copy, design visually appealing graphics and animations, conceptualize ideas from thought to spot, multi-task, and have superior customer service skills. In addition, the ideal candidate will work WTOV... remote high school football and basketball production events as needed.

The primary function of this job is to develop graphics, editing and animations for client commercials, marketing materials, news, and programming products across all digital and linear content streams.
What your day will look like: Meet with clients and WTOV 9 Marketing Consultants to brainstorm engaging and memorable commercial content. Write and produce commercial and marketing scripts to be published on multiple streams. Design graphics and animations for social media, web, video, and print. This position will also be asked to edit commercials, promos, and content for WTOV 9 social media platforms.
Experience Requested:
• Two years previous experience in social or broadcast content creation (Either professionally or academically)
• Strong writing skill and attention to detail
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After effects)
• Knowledge of video formats/codecs
• Knowledge of the top social media platforms and best practices for posting
• Highly creative and strong communication skills
• A strong eye for design

WTOV is looking for a take-charge General Assignment Reporter to help us continue to grow and empower our audiences! We are seeking a motivated, energetic, creative, and aggressive reporter who can think and perform outside the box. The ideal candidate should be able to develop story ideas and gather information for newscasts, have sound writing skills, a great work ethic, and a... can-do attitude. The best person for this job will have excellent live shot skills and thrives on breaking stories
No day will look the same as a Reporter, however, the main responsibilities of the role will include:
• Create, shoot, write and edit meaningful stories for station’s newscast that can be used across multiple platforms
• Provide news on-air as directed from the news management team
• Engaging with local community members
• Reviewing material for fairness, accuracy, and balance
• Work closely with all members of the news team, which would include Producers, Editors, Anchors, News Directors etc..
