The Manager is responsible for the stewardship of an existing major gift corporate portfolio and the development of new major corporate funders and sponsors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES...

· Research current and potential corporate funder prospects including past interactions (meetings, emails, other points of contact), giving history, and philanthropic interests. Assist in strategy development, including identifying approaches for solicitation. Participate in solicitation meetings as appropriate.

· Establish and manage fulfillment of benefits for all corporate partnerships.

· Gather, analyze and prepare quantitative and qualitative data (such as recognition impressions) for informal and formal reporting purposes.

· Track and share relevant information with colleagues through our CRM and shared files.

· Collaborate with development colleagues as a project manager on WTTW and WFMT fundraising initiatives.

· Manage preparation and execution of written communications for corporate funders. These include solicitation and gift acknowledgement emails and letters, gift agreements, and reports.

· Contribute to the planning and execution of funder and partner meetings and events, including special screenings and tours.

· Attend external events and meetings on behalf of WTTW and WFMT as assigned.

· Be a strong ambassador for WTTW and WFMT both internally and externally.

· Other departmental duties as needed and identified.

EXPERIENCE:

· Candidate must have 3-5 years of work experience. Experience in the Development or Corporate arena is a plus, as is practical experience and/or knowledge of the non-profit arts and culture sector.

· There are many routes toward a career in fundraising, and relevant experience may include (but is not limited to) customer service or client relations, administrative or operations work, as well as the restaurant and hospitality industry.

· Experience with Tessitura or other CRM is a plus.

· Manage budget and agency partners to optimize performance.

· Collaborate with marketing staff and internal creative services to lead content and design development for digital touchpoints including email, e-newsletters.

· Optimize Google AdWords grant; propose strategic digital advertising budget, create display and/or retargeting ads, and paid social that will deliver healthy pipeline of prospects, and move donors through lifecycle optimizing engagement, retention, and revenue.

· Own KPIs for digital/email marketing, leverage Google Analytics and other reporting tools to track and optimize digital performance against goals, provide regular analytics reports, identify trends, and innovate to increase engagement and results.

· Coordinate with direct response membership staff on omni-channel fundraising campaigns, ensuring the creation and delivery of strategic support messaging is consistent across platform; align marketing and digital fundraising sustainer programs to create one unified strategy.

· Work with digital, database operations and gift processing departments to assess and implement improvements to existing backend processes, procedures, and vendors (including credit card and EFT processing) for digital engagement and giving.

· Keep pulse on digital landscape – current and emerging – recommending new ideas, growth opportunities and strategies.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS:

· Detail-oriented project manager with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with responsiveness to daily, weekly, ongoing deadlines.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, constituents, and external partners/vendors.

· Proven collaborator and communicator with technical and non-technical people alike; excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

EXPERIENCE:

· 7-10 years of experience in digital marketing, with emphasis on direct response.

· Strong Microsoft Office skills, including hands-on knowledge of advanced features of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

· Proven success in managing digital advertising including display, paid social, retargeting, with experience in Google AdWords.

· Working knowledge of e-mail marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, etc.); CRM systems (e.g., Blackbaud/Raisers Edge, Tessitura, Salesforce), content scheduling (e.g., Sprout Social, etc.); Google Analytics, Facebook, and Twitter Analytics.

· Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products a plus.

EDUCATION: B.A. or B.S. degree in marketing, fundraising or related field.
