WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Capture and edit visual content for multiple platforms.
• Operate and maintain live equipment including microwave, satellite and related news gathering equipment.
• Work in tandem with newsroom personnel to create and develop news stories.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
• Associates degree in related discipline preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in related field preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
• Proficiency with lighting and computer based editing.
• Proficiency with live microwave truck operation.
• Knowledge and demonstration of creativity, editorial judgment, journalistic ethics and libel laws.
• Knowledge of and proficiency in posting content to station's web sites.
• Able to work efficiently under multiple deadlines on a daily basis.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
• Must have a strong desire to focus on web-based content.
• Must have basic HTML formatting skills and knowledge of how to FTP/publish web content.
• Must be creative, have good people skills and be able to handle deadline pressure and need to multi-task.
• Must have strong newspaper-style writing, editing and headline skills.
• Must have knowledge and experience with still-image photography using digital cameras/hand held video cameras.

• You will be selling broadcast television and digital advertising solutions. Digital solutions include over-the-top (OTT) video, search strategies (SEO/SEM), social media marketing and more. You will sell to local and regional businesses and advertising agencies.
• Independently prospect, develop and maintain new business in the market using the Scripps Sales Process and developing customized solutions.
• Travel to the office or hop on Zoom to host a brainstorm session with your team for an upcoming advertising campaign
• Attend a regular call with an existing client to talk about campaign performance and ideas for upcoming promotions.
• Use ratings, qualitative and market trend data to negotiate program ratings and advertising rates with advertising agencies to maximize revenue.
• Cultivate new relationships with businesses in the local community by networking, cold calling, and referrals.
• Develop and deliver advertising and marketing campaigns, and media plans.
