• Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices.
• Assists management and supervisors in investigating accidents and developing measures to prevent recurrences.
• Analyze incident reports, metrics, and injury case studies to institute changes that lead to a safer environment
• Hosts presentations to educate staff about health and safety laws and other health and safety training.
• Maintains safety files and records.
• Check if all the employees are acting in adherence with rules and regulations, through weekly safety inspections, monthly random checks, accident investigation, etc.

What you need to be successful:

Purpose of Role:

Yamaha is seeking a dedicated Supply Planner to join our team. Successful individual will be responsible for working cross functionally with domestic and international vendors to ensure continuous supply to our warehouses at the right inventory levels and costs, in order to serve our customers in a timely manner. Individual will be responsible to mitigate any impacts to customer service due to demand and/or supply constraints.

Individual works directly with key business partners to ensure strong working relationships and processes in order to achieve our business goals and objectives. The role would also involve item setup and distribution of inventory across different nodes. The individual would serve as a Subject Matter Expert for assigned product group(s) and will have a strong focus and passion to continuously improve all areas of the organization. Please note: this position is based in the Buena Park office.

Your Key Accountabilities Will Include:
• Ensure Sales and Marketing inventory needs are met and use influence to resolve areas of concerns
• Ensure appropriate actions are taken to have a continuous supply in case of a capacity constraints
• Conduct and actively participate in Product Sales & Inventory (PSI) meetings
• Review and plan appropriate level of inventory (When , What , How)
• Manage vendors
• Track and report KPIs with corrective action plan
• Maintain master data
• Manage product lifecycle
