Summary:
Yonex USA specializes in producing technologically advanced sports equipment to enable players, both amateur and professional, to play tennis, badminton, and golf at a higher level. The Sales Representative will represent the company and meet with existing and potential customers to present sales proposals, inform accounts of product features and benefits, provide exceptional service, and grow the brand within the territory.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain working relationships with existing accounts and ensure that they receive exceptional service and identify potential new sales opportunities in given territory
· Achieve sales goals by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies, assessing account needs, and understanding the industry landscape
· Possess in-depth product knowledge, features and technical specifications, to be able to answer customer questions
· Conduct product demos and educate current and prospective customers about the features and benefits of Yonex products
· Identify and acquire new accounts to increase market share and expand our customer reach
· Collaborate with the marketing department to expand brand presence
· Provide timely and accurate reports as required
· Continually gather information on local competition, new products, and market conditions within the territory; communicate information to management and others as needed
· Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred
· 3 or more years of sales experience is preferred
· Knowledge of tennis or related equipment is required
· Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite is required
· Strong consultative sales and communication skills
· Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
· Possess strong oral and written communication, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Must possess a valid driver’s license
