Our Customer Success Managers position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our existing customers, with a focus on Retention, Adoption of our communications and UC,CC & XCaaS products, as well as looking for opportunities for expansion – increasing the Value customers receive from our suite of products. The Professional Services (PS) Associate EngagementManager is a key member of the 8x8 PS sales team having responsibility for providing pre-sales professional services support for the 8x8 portfolio. • Establish and grow a productive relationship with Sales Team to ensure achievement of team goals in new customer acquisition, customer upsell, and customer retention
• Identify sales opportunities and lead PS pre-sales planning, project pricing, bid review, and presentation of sales proposals
• Provide accurate forecasts of Professional Services bookings on a monthly basis
• Provide management reporting on sales pipeline and project portfolio regarding schedule fidelity, adherence to budget, escalation of issues, and perform assigned administrative tasks
• Provide engagement oversight for project portfolio
• Manage day-to-day relationships with client stakeholders and review and resolution of pre-sales deliverables
• Direct and indirect management, coaching, and skills development of PS pre and post sales delivery consultants
• Transfer industry, technical, and product knowledge to customers

Qualifications:
• Degree in a technical or business discipline

Q: What are you most excited about working with your team and at 8x8 in general?
A: It’s always exciting when we get to rework something old, and do it in a better way, and this is exactly what we will be working on in the following period. I love the fact that we have a huge amount of influence on what goes where and how.
Q: Can you give us an overview of what this team member will be responsible for?
A: The new team member will be responsible for the design and delivery of highly available and qualitative Java services as well as the UI layer on top of it. We are working on decommissioning some older software and implementing it into a new architecture, so our new colleague will contribute to this effort together with a large global team.
Q: And what kind of skills should someone have to succeed in this role?
A: As we’re part of a large global team, communication is a key skill that is needed in order to assure that we’re doing the right thing. We encourage everyone to openly state their opinions and leave their own mark on the product we're developing.

What we’re looking for:
We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join 8x8's technology team. As one of the most senior individual contributors on the team, you will drive the technical initiatives for the Platform services, ensuring that our solutions are scalable and sustainable. You'll get to help grow the team by promoting best practices, supporting and contributing to key projects, as well as mentoring fellow engineers.
What will you build?
You will be part of a development team that works on critical applications and is involved in the entire life cycle of the product: from development to deployment. The applications the team is responsible for covering a wide functional area including telephone extension configuration, 8x8 licensing or address management.
We adopted the Microservices architectural style and run our system in a hybrid Public Cloud - Private DataCenter infrastructure. Our Agile Process is continuously improved in order to support our Continuous Delivery mindset and fast evolving business needs.
