PRIMARY FUNCTION:

A key member of the executive office, this role involves working directly with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and Senior Director, providing administrative support in a fast paced and dynamic environment. This role will directly support the Chief of Staff, be responsible for all travel arrangements for the Office of the CEO, and provide back up support to the Senior Executive Assistant – Office of the CEO. All elements of support must be done with both confidentiality and precision. This role will also liaise with other Senior Executives, volunteer leaders and public and private individuals, and coordinate workflow with other assistants in the Office of the CEO.
Responsibilities

Primary:
• Support the day-to-day operations of Office of the CEO by providing timely, streamlined communication and follow-up, with utmost attention to detail.
• Maintain the Chief of Staff’s calendar, schedule and confirm meetings, conference calls, and travel. Manage all calendar requests in a timely manner. This may involve one-on-one meetings or multi-party meetings, with internal and/or external constituents.
• Coordinate executive travel and hotel arrangements for the CEO and Chief of Staff. Coordinate and confirm security arrangements as needed. Monitor and modify as needed prior to and throughout the duration of the travel period. Track business expenses. Process travel expense reimbursements. Prepare detailed itineraries and ensure that all involved parties receive the necessary documents in a timely manner.
• Participate in weekly calendar reviews with Office of the CEO and development teams.
• Respond to Chief of Staff emails as directed. Provide information and refer as needed to appropriate staff members. Ensure timely follow up.
• Draft routine correspondence for Chief of Staff as requested. Review and edit, as necessary, select documents to be sent out under Chief of Staff signature.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, in writing and/or by phone, on matters relating to Office of the CEO, including scheduling, logistics, briefing documents, and other supporting matters as they may arise.
• Assist in preparing daily briefing book for the CEO and confirm all corresponding materials for travel are received in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with, and assist, Senior Executive Assistant – Office of the CEO; provide back up support as needed.
• Provide input and participate in process and technology projects to further improve workflow within the Office of the CEO.
• Implement special projects as requested by Office of the CEO and follow through to successful completion.
• Duties may include assisting with event/meeting planning by coordinating registration, materials preparation, and possible on-site administrative support.

Secondary:
• Order office supplies and maintain supply of ADL marketing materials so items are always on hand for Executive Office use.
• Provide guest lists to security for screening.

Responsibilities

Primary:

issues. Conduct routine fact-finding research, using established
contacts and developing sources as appropriate. Resolve complaints
or refer to senior staff as necessary. Maintain required
records.
• Monitor the news and social media for antisemitic incidents to
submit for inclusion in the annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents.
Assist Regional Operations team with processing batches of
incidents from law enforcement agencies.
• Maintain contacts with the staff of elected officials and
relevant government officials to promote the mission of ADL.
• Provide staff support to volunteer committees as assigned.
Assist with related program and event planning. Coordinate
speakers and logistics for related conferences.
• May manage, maintain, and regularly update the Regional website
and other social media.
• Represent ADL by speaking to constituents, community groups,
school and student groups and law enforcement agencies. Conduct

Reporting to the Director of Development, the Associate Director
of Development is an integral member of a complex and rapidly
growing team. The Associate Director is responsible for
implementing ADL’s annual giving program, including direct
solicitation of individual, corporate, and foundation gifts and
related cultivation and stewardship activities. This passionate and
enthusiastic fundraiser will manage a personal portfolio of donors
and prospects and will collaborate closely to develop major gifts
and donor/community cultivation events.

Responsibilities

Primary:
• Identifies, qualifies, cultivates, and solicits funding from
individuals, corporations, and foundations in accordance with ADL’s
Operating Plan and funding priorities.
• Actively builds and manages a portfolio of 120 -150 individual,
foundation and corporate donors and prospects with the capacity to
make gifts of $10k or above.
• Develops and implements a comprehensive cultivation and
stewardship plan, building relationships with donors via phone
calls, personalized email communications, ongoing written contact,
and in-person visits. Some travel will be required for donor
meetings and events.
• Develops and executes cultivation and solicitation strategies
and ensures follow up activities and stewardship.
• Fosters and maintains effective relationships within their
assigned Region and National ADL.
• Ensures all donor/prospect activities and communications are
recorded in the CRM database in accordance with department policies
and procedures.
• Oversees coordination of donor cultivation and
community-building event logistics as deemed integral to the
Region’s overall fundraising strategy.
• Contributes to development-related functions such as marketing,
communications, and advocacy.

mission, programs, activities, institutional needs, and fundraising

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Project Manager will play an important role in the nation’s leading authority on extremism as a leader on COE’s partnerships team. This position will grow COE’s capacity to monitor, expose and disrupt extremism and hate by bolstering collaboration with partner organizations across diverse industries and interest areas.

Responsibilities:

Primary:
• Oversee a portfolio of diverse partnership projects, including assessing potential projects according to COE’s strategic partnership plan, designing project goals and structure, driving internal approval of projects, overseeing the successful and timely completion of project deliverables, closing projects, reporting on progress to ADL and partners and other tasks.
• Collaborate closely with the Director of Partnerships and Senior Program Manager to inform partnership strategy.
• Provide operational support to the Partnership Team, including coordinating MOU and contract approval, ensuring timely and accurate payments and maintaining financial records, managing team files and project trackers, and other tasks.
• Provide support on a variety of development needs, including creation of presentations, grant proposals and other resources intended to leverage the work of COE with donors, funders, partners and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with ADL’s other national departments and 25 Regional Offices to expand and support COE’s programs that counter extremism and hate.

• Familiarity with project management tools (Asana) and practices preferred.
• Familiarity with issues related to extremism, antisemitism and hate preferred.
• Event planning experience a plus.

Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Identify and build relationships with local attorneys and law firms who provide assistance to ADL on relevant legal work, including the preparation of amicus briefs. In coordination with Divisional Vice President (DVP), policy team, and Government Relations, Advocacy, and Community Engagement (GRACE), assist with implementation of advocacy campaigns, including support of or opposition to relevant state and local legislative proposals, preparing and delivering testimony on ADL’s behalf, and lobbying key decision-makers. (Depending upon the jurisdiction, this responsibility may require the counsel to become a registered lobbyist.) Establish and build critical relationships with key members of the legal community and government, school and law enforcement officials, and deliver CLE courses and training programs. Represent ADL at divisional and regional conferences and programs. Serve as spokesperson at events and as media contact on civil rights issues, and work closely with national and regional lay leadership.
Responsibilities:

Primary:
• Direct and guide Regional Directors and other regional staff on the handling of complaints alleging civil rights violations, including school-based complaints, for the entire multi-state area. Undertake research, engage in correspondence and follow up with complainants and government officials. Build and reinforce relationships with local attorneys and law firms with regard to relevant legal work, including the preparation of amicus briefs for ADL.
• In coordination with DVP, policy team and GRACE, assist with implementation of advocacy campaigns, including supporting or opposing relevant state and local legislative proposals. Review, research, and analyze opportunities for litigation and legislative initiatives for the area, including advising regional staff on pending cases and legislation and their potential impact on ADL’s mission and policies.
• Prepare and deliver testimony on ADL’s behalf and assist with legislative advocacy. Work with CR and GRACE teams to draft new legislative initiatives and promote such initiatives to applicable stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver CLE courses and training programs on hate crimes, voting rights, immigration, religious freedom, threats to our democracy, and other relevant issues as prioritized by CR and GRACE. Serve as a critical resource on ADL “just and inclusive” initiatives for regional staff, colleagues in the Center on Extremism, the Center for Technology and Society, and other teams, lay leaders, constituents, government and school officials and the media.
• Represent ADL by speaking at regional conferences, local public events, colleges and community forums and other platforms on discrimination, hate crimes, civil liberties, separation of church and state, antisemitism and other relevant issues. Participate in community coalitions and work in coordination with other ADL colleagues to create and reinforce relationships with other Jewish and civil rights organizations.
• Respond to media inquiries about ADL’s position on local issues. Draft op-ed articles, letters to the editor and press releases on ADL Now priority issues. Support as appropriate real-time communications responses on relevant and timely issues.

Secondary
• Assist in developing agendas and programs for regional Civil Rights Committees and divisional civil rights programs. As part of CR team, develop ideas for agendas and speakers for regional webinars and national programs such as Never is Now!
• Assist in building support, promoting participation, and obtaining CLE certification for annual Supreme Court Review and ADL-sponsored CLE programs.
• Support and assist in development activities, including donor cultivation and stewardship.
Qualifications:

Skills:
• Subject matter expertise to guide regional staff.
• Strong oral and written communication skills including public speaking experience. Excellent interpersonal skills are needed. Legal analytical and legal drafting skills are essential. Familiarity with word processing software is needed.

Bar Admission and Work Experience:
• Licensed to practice law, bar admission in Georgia, Florida or Louisiana preferred
• Five to seven years of related experience in public policy agency or civil rights law practice.

Education:
• Juris Doctorate

Work Environment:
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is necessary to represent ADL. Frequent travel within the region is required. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Compensation: 
• This position has a salary range of $74,000 to $107,000. This salary range is reflective of a position based in Atlanta, Georgia. Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience and reflect the budget for a given position, and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure, there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
