Product Manager, Partnerships

We’re looking for a Product Manager to work with 3rd Party Technology Platforms to help build and scale Adyen’s partner ecosystem. Partners are critical to Adyen’s success as we continue to impact the global market. Bringing both business and product acumen, you will identify, develop, cultivate, broaden, and maintain Adyen’s strategic partnerships. You will work hand in hand with partners to develop a robust Adyen integration while establishing a full featured and optimized merchant engagement process. You will work with our commercial partnerships team to collaborate in any go-to-market activities.

Our partner ecosystem spans different sales channels and different industries. The partnership team works on point of sale, ecommerce, mobile, subscription platforms, and more. We work in different verticals including, but not limited to: retail, hospitality, and food & beverage. Some examples of our key partners are: Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and Zuora.

What you’ll do:
• Build, operationalize, and maintain partner integrations to enable fast and easy access for merchants to use Adyen’s global solutions
• Lead day-to-day partner relationships and operations through structured communication – weekly / bi-weekly / monthly meetings, QBRs, etc.
• Drive strategic roadmap discussions with partners while applying market need
• Identify, share, and implement best practices for partner engagement
• Work cross-functionally with partner’s internal stakeholders to ensure integration is full featured and up-to-date
• Work in tandem with Adyen’s commercial partner team members to be the partner’s go-to payment expert and authority
• Support commercial and strategic activities for partners
• Lead knowledge sharing of partnerships to the rest of the Adyen organization – including partner profile, features, onboarding, implementation processes, etc.
• Work with the larger Adyen Product organization to distribute new features and functionality to the partner ecosystem at scale
• Attend industry and partner meetings and conferences
• Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly multimodal environment

Who you are:
• Knowledgeable of unified and omnichannel customer journeys and its enablement
• You have 7+ years work experience in the payments industry (domestic / international) and/or product partnerships
• Experience with retail, hospitality, and/or F&B (point-of-sale or/and ecommerce) ecosystems
• Experience seeing projects through from beginning to end, owning the entire process

Channel Partnership Manager

We are looking for a Channel Partnership Manager to help build and scale Adyen’s partner ecosystem. We work with a variety of partners in the retail and e-commerce value chain that advise merchants on solutions. We want to be the payments solution of choice for these partners.

Senior Technical Writer

Aside from our payments offering, Adyen is also building a suite of embedded financial products for platforms such as marketplaces, SaaS platforms, on-demand platforms, or crowdfunding platforms.

What you’ll do
• Lead, plan, align documentation initiatives and content projects with different teams and functions in our Chicago tech hub and more.
• Write technical documentation for our external developer audience. You will write documentation for SDKs and APIs, including references, and conceptual and integration guides.
• Deliver clear and concise documentation.
• Support content design and layout.
• Think of concepts and solutions to automate and optimize our docs.
• Review and help improve content created by other technical writers and non-writers, and drive best practices in technical writing.

Who you are
• You have extensive experience in writing documentation for APIs and SDKs, based on a clear understanding of user goals and motivations.
• You are proficient in using Git and working with a docs-as-code workflow.
• You have experience in leading cross-team documentation projects and initiatives, such as restructuring documentation and coming up with documentation processes.
• You enjoy working with developers, product owners, and other technical writers to deliver quality documentation.
• You speak your mind and you like to take ownership. You work with other teams to define documentation strategy, improve user experience, and make better documentation tools.
• Experience developing with programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, PHP, Ruby, or others is a plus.

Team Lead, Technical Support

As a Technical Support Team Lead, based in San Francisco, you will lead a team that operates as a first point of contact for Adyen’s merchants across the globe. You will guide and develop the technical support team that works directly with merchants to help solve complex technical and operational questions. Demand Generation/Account Based Marketing Manager, NA

The Account Based Marketing Manager, North America will coordinate our outbound and ABM marketing efforts in the US and Canada, to help with boosting our acquisition strategy and uplevel Adyen’s digital presence across a number of channels. This role will work from our San Francisco office and report directly to our Demand Generation Team Lead, North America.

This role will create 1:Many, 1:Few, and 1:1 account based marketing campaigns targeting strategic named enterprise accounts. The ideal candidate is an effective collaborator with a strong skill set encompassing digital marketing, ABM, data, and optimization. You have a proven ability to develop, implement, track and scale new marketing initiatives across digital channels. You love working as a team and coordinating with sales and SDR on business objectives. This is a matrixed role collaborating across the North America and Global Marketing teams to deliver creative lead gen initiatives and brand awareness marketing campaigns.

What you’ll do:
• Execute, Manage and improve ABM campaigns. Work with the Sales and Marketing teams to define the ABM strategy and build relevant programs. Enable the SDR team with building relevant SalesLoft Cadences and sharing marketing pretexts
• Lead our ABM target list effort, working with our marketing tools such as ZoomInfo and Marketo/Demandbase ABM. Work on optimizing and enriching our lists. Ensure best practices regarding our list uploads and work on data troubleshooting
• Create targeted digital account-based marketing campaigns (ie. display, paid advertising, content syndication, emails, webinars, and landing pages) to help prospects understand, try, adopt, land, and expand on our enterprise offering. Collaborate with an external digital agency to help with execution & performance.
• Build and run our Direct Marketing efforts in North America
• Work hand in hand with our Sales and SDR teams, to strategize, implement, and optimize outbound campaigns that generate qualified leads and increase sales pipeline
• Leverage analytics tools to gauge effectiveness of campaigns and promotions across all channels
• Collaborate with the content and design team to create supporting assets to implement across multiple platforms
• Proactively lead projects and deliver on marketing campaign KPIs
• Support with managing digital agency relationships

Who you are:
• 5+ years experience, ABM experience is a must, B2B enterprise level accounts is preferred but not required
• Strong background in digital marketing, demand generation, outbound acquisition & direct marketing channels.
• Proven analytical mindset
• Proven experience delivering creative and successful marketing campaigns to targeted audiences
• Strong project management skills with affinity for effective collaboration with different teams and stakeholders
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally 20%+

Manager, Technical Support

As a Technical Support Manager, based in Chicago, you will lead a team that operates as a first point of contact for Adyen’s merchants across the globe. You will guide and develop the technical support team that works directly with merchants to help solve complex technical and operational questions. Day-to-day you will be working with multiple teams across Adyen, such as Operations, Engineering, Product, Account Management and Sales to provide white glove service and support.

With Adyen being a 24/7 business we operate throughout time zones using a follow the sun principle. Our extensive payments knowledge and technical skillset is our most valuable asset both to our merchants and our internal teams. What you’ll do
• Lead a customer facing team that is a key source of knowledge on the Adyen platform and APIs, the underlying technology stack, and industry-standard integration methods and best practices
• Collaborate across an international leadership team by scheduling and participating in monthly meetings, standardizing best practices and developing global alignment as we scale
• Recruit and hire talented Technical Support Engineers who can contribute to Adyen and our merchant’s growth
• Coach and mentor members of the Support team to fully prepare Technical Support Engineers to resolve technical challenges for Adyen’s merchants and grow their careers
• Help define and clearly communicate objectives and key results for the Support team
• Institute accountability, track team progress and success, and present results to Senior Leadership

Who you are:
• You are a people leader and have experience leading technical teams

• You are able to serve as an escalation point to varied technical support requests and challenges
• Payments or Fintech experience is not required, but you must be able to communicate your enthusiasm for the space
• You can make quick informed decisions and prioritize requests for both internal and external stakeholders
• You have strong communication skills and the ability to interact with others clearly and empathetically

Senior Product Manager - Issuing

Adyen is looking for a senior product manager with 5+ years of relevant working experience to help us scale our issuing offering. You will be working closely with engineers, designers and data analysts to identify and drive the development of additional functionality to delight our customers. Our state-of-the-art issuing offering is relatively new and one of the most exciting – and fastest growing – initiatives to work on within Adyen. What you’ll do
• Identify & understand the needs and challenges of issuing customers.
• Translate internal and external feedback into actionable product requirements to create a frictionless & customer focused issuing offering.
• Identify ongoing scalability and operational improvements to set the product up for success in this high growth industry.
• Establish metrics, processes, and dashboards for monitoring and evaluation of the success of new functionality.
