Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. in History or one of the allied disciplines in the humanities or social sciences, or from an area studies department. Preform maintenance on files in Unix environment. Additionally, will be called to build and deploy applications using Gradle int Linux/Unix test and production environments. Preforms technical level trouble shooting of application related problems. Must be able to work independently and as a team with minimal support. Must be able and willing to work overtime in other than normal working hours as required.
REQUIREMENTS
for this position is bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline, with two years of programming experience in Java Web development using databased access (Oracle preferred) or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Must understand system development methodologies and be able to advance a project through the development life cycle from requirements through after-deployment maintenance. Good customer service, organizational and analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations. Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.
SALARY & BENEFITS
Salary will range from $75,000-85,000 based on education and experience.
