The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the intellectual life of the department, but also assist faculty in establishing programming related to the Gulf, Arabian Peninsula, and Indian Ocean World... Ideally, the candidate would use the time to produce publications relating to the region as well. Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. in History or one of the allied disciplines in the humanities or social sciences, or from an area studies department. This position is also open to applicants who already hold tenured or tenure-track positions in other institutions.

for this position is bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline, with two years of programming experience in Java Web development using databased access (Oracle preferred) or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. Must understand system development methodologies and be able to advance a project through the development life cycle from requirements through after-deployment maintenance. Good customer service, organizational and analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations. Possess effective communication and interpersonal skills.

While this facility is located in the southernmost tip of Nevada, the high altitude does mean snow in the winters, but you'll be hard pressed to find a more beautiful spring/summer!

This long-established Arabian farm is looking for a new team member to assist in the breeding and daily operations on their 30 horse facility! The ideal individual will be comfortable working with youngstock and at least lightly experienced working with breeding stallions and foaling. This is very much a team oriented environment, where all members of staff work as well to maintain the facility, complete the daily care operations, and complete extra projects as needed. Someone who knows their way around farm equipment, and isn't afraid to pick up a hammer will be looked at favorably! This is a facility which believes strongly in continued education for all staff members, and will provide ample opportunities for learning and growth - including sending the breeding team to seminars/workshops and investing one-on-one time with the team's vets. Kindness and patience in working with the young horses are an absolute necessity. This is not a riding/training position, as farm only focuses on breeding and sales.
