Job Summary

The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for providing HR support to multiple facilities in their assigned region and respective CEOs, and SVP of Human Resources. Besides general HR responsibilities, the HRBP will uncover deeper insights and create the experiences that power our employees and business. You will identify employment engagement practices and opportunities important to retention.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Provides strategic support to the multiple facilities and respective CEOs, Human Resource Staff members, and management team by recommending human resources objectives that promote a higher level of morale, increases employee engagement, fosters employee retention of “A” players, and drives improved productivity consistent with growth and profit objectives.
• Advocate and facilitator to seek resolution of employee relations issues, with escalation to the SVP of Human Capital when necessary.

Job Summary

​​The Treatment Advocate will observe client’s daily activities and assist in their recovery. TA will collaborate with the Treatment team and assist with service coordination as needed for patients. American Addiction Centers strives to ensure that all of our patients receive the most comprehensive care to address the issues that may impede their recovery.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for welcoming new patients, assisting with orientation of programming schedule and rules.
• Conduct patient belongings search when new patient admitted.
• Complete rounds and security checks.
• Participate in coordination of patient’s daily schedule including treatment meetings, behavior interventions, and overall general observation of behavior and level of participation.
• Provide support and encouragement to patients.
• Support and encourage patient participation in group, individual, and family counseling services.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• State recognized (IC&RC) alcohol and drug certification (or within six months of completing certification) required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a behavioral healthcare field.
• Knowledge of utilizing electronic health record software and documentation.
• Ability to read, write and interpret written information, type documentation, present information to groups and participate in meetings.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible hours.

Job Summary

The Admissions Navigator provides a professional evaluation of AAC services to potential clients and/or family members. This includes taking sales calls, accepting inquiries from individuals referred to American Addiction Centers, explaining services and related costs, conducting telephonic intakes, processing payment and providing guidance on federal regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Efficiently answer, initiate and handle inquiries from clients and support group members referred to AAC via methods including but not limited to inbound calls, outbound calls, web inquiries, and online chat inquiries
• Complete admissions process, including but not limited to explaining services and related costs, conducting telephonic intake screenings to assess the client’s situation, and processing payments for a client’s treatment
• In the event AAC is not a possibility for a client, refer to the outside, non-AAC resources to orient individuals in the right direction toward recovery
• Deliver the highest quality, customer service standards of care and productivity for internal and external clients
• Effectively follow-up with pending leads, at specified time intervals
• Exercise effective use of soft skills, including but not limited to active listening, questioning techniques, building rapport, voice and para-verbal communication, empathy and motivational interviewing
• Gather insurance benefits from clients, accurately record the information into the Salesforce CRM and submit to the Insurance team for benefit verification
• Conduct over-the-phone intake screenings with clients to determine clinical appropriateness and correct placement for levels of care
• Effectively communicate and educate on specific features and benefits a facility provides based on the clinical needs of a client
• Expectations for ongoing professional development with a focus on clinical knowledge
• Meet minimum requirements, including but not limited to monthly admission calls, monthly rescues, and conversion metrics

Responsibilities:

The Treatment Advocate (TA) will observe client’s daily activities and assist in their recovery. TA will collaborate with the Treatment team and assist with service coordination as needed for patients. • Responsible for welcoming new patients, assisting with orientation of programming schedule, facility expectations, and rules.

• Perform patient body search and collect urine specimens for Point-of-Care Testing. Patient body searches are conducted by the same-sex between staff and patients.
• Complete rounds and security checks per facility policy, level of care requirements and doctor’s orders.
• Perform safety searches of the building, the periphery and property as needed.
• Participate in coordination of patient’s daily schedule including treatment meetings, behavior interventions, and overall general observation of behavior and level of participation.
• Provide support and encouragement to patients.
• Support and encourage patient participation in group, individual, and family counseling services.
• Support clinical services of outpatient and inpatient adult population as assigned by TA Supervisor.
• Participate in daily treatment team meeting and program staff meetings.

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Behavioral Sciences (social sciences, human services, counseling or psychology).
• State recognized (IC&RC) alcohol and drug certification preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital or clinical environment, substance abuse and mental health background preferred.

Assistance with streamlining Inpatient care to Outpatient. Focuses on transition of care services. The Case Manager is a strategic part of ensuring inpatient to outpatient conversions, with continuity of care and providing a “warm hand-off” of clinical services..
• Meet with individual patients weekly or more throughout course of treatment to discuss any current needs, provider referrals to community collaterals.
• Facilitates a minimum of 2 OP groups inpatient per week.
• Helps patients complete pre-registration paperwork packets while inpatient and registers them for OP, setting up initial appointments and follows up with patients once discharged from the hospital to ensure they make their first appointment.

Job Summary

The Clinical Consultant I provides a professional evaluation of AAC services to potential clients and/or family members. This includes working directly with the Call Center Managers, Navigators, Director of Insurance, AAC facility CEOs, Admissions Directors and Physicians to coordinate patient referrals to the assigned facility. Clinical Consultant will review all high -risk pre-screening assessments from the call center for approval purposes. Clinical Consultant will make recommendations to the Call Center Staff regarding best clinical fit. The Clinical Consultant will also be responsible for communicating with AAC’s business development team to help coordinate bed to bed transfers for clients and enhance communication between hospitals and AAC facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Ability to review and determine medical and psychiatric high -risk cases for admission to AAC facilities.
• Determine clinical appropriateness and correct placement for levels of care.
• In the event AAC is not a possibility for a client, utilize the outside business development team for referrals to better suited levels of care/programs.
• Deliver the highest quality standards of care and productivity for internal and external clients.
• Effectively follow-up with pending clients, at specified time intervals
• Exercise effective use of soft skills, including but not limited to active listening, questioning techniques, building rapport, voice and para-verbal communication, empathy and motivational interviewing
• Effectively communicate and educate on specific features and benefits a facility provides based on the clinical needs of a client.

• Strong healthcare / behavioral health (i.e. psychology, nursing, social work, substance abuse etc.) knowledge and skills preferred, Drug and Alcohol Counselors or Mobile Assessors a plus
