The AMSTAT Customer Service Department is searching for a self-motivated, forward-thinking customer service representative. The successful candidate will be part of a team providing superior customer service to AMSTAT clients and building a next generation customer service experience for current and future subscribers. Responsibilities
• Maximize customer satisfaction and retention through a superior customer service experience.
• Build customer relationships with key client contacts ranging from mid-level to executive.
• Understand and be able to communicate the AMSTAT research processes to clients and potential clients.
• Understand and be able to communicate the functionality and benefits of AMSTAT data and AMSTAT web based and mobile applications to clients and potential clients. Help them maximize the value they get from the service.
• Provide online and in-person one-on-one and group training on AMSTAT applications.
• Support the implementation of the Zendesk customer service platform.
• Support and hold webinars demonstrating various elements of the AMSTAT services.
• Take ownership of service issues you can resolve alone. Problem solve and diagnose customer service items.
• When teamwork is required, take ownership and coordinate the relevant AMSTAT teams to resolve client issues. Follow up with clients to ensuring their satisfaction.
• Handle incoming customer account related service phone calls, emails and tickets.
• Coordinate with Accounting to resolve subscription, invoice and statement issues.
• Look to drive improvements in customer experience and streamline of customer service processes.
• Perform outreach to clients based on 3x yearly outreach calls to clients.
• Where applicable promote service upgrades.

Requirements
• Working knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and in using the internet are requirements
