Position Summary

This position will primarily focus on the management and optimization of ANA Awards Programs. ANA Awards have been on a 4-year growth trajectory, and they aren’t slowing down. This position is being created to help implement and continue the growth of ANA’s existing awards programs, plus assist in launching new initiatives to optimize ANA’s portfolio of awards in ways that provide new opportunities for learning, engagement, and revenue. The position reports to the Vice President, Awards. Responsibilities will include:
• Assist in crafting and implementation of impactful program messaging, creation of presentations, and marketing / PR assets for program amplification & promotions.
• Play a key role in the annual “launch preparations” for each awards program from online competition platform preparation to creation of program timelines.
• Lead on knowledge of the awards competition OpenWater platform capabilities, operations, and latest enhancements
• Work on award show production elements including organization of creative files, script writing, proofing, signage, etc.
• Potentially assist with on-site implementation of awards shows (some travel may be required)
• Assist with the fulfillment and sales of award trophies
• Assist in curation of awards program data for various ANA departments and vendors
• Assist with coordination of research and thought leadership initiatives involving award programs
• Assist with preparation of new award products including educational workshops, entry audits, Top Teams ranking, etc.
• Assist in development of ways to improve and streamline/automate various awards tasks and processes

Job Description/Major Responsibilities

This position will primarily focus on the management and optimization of some of the ANA’s most dynamic committees, a variety of conferences, and two awards programs.

Committees are forums attracting client-side marketers and marketing service providers that bring members together for peer-to-peer learning, benchmarking, best practice sharing, networking, and addressing industry issues. Committee members are from companies who are a “who’s who” roster of corporate America. Each committee meets approximately 5 - 6 times a year (2 - 3x in-person and 3x virtually) and this position will help set-up, manage, program, analyze and curate the content for those meetings.

Conferences are major industry events open to all; they are an important “public face” of the ANA. We manage national industry conferences, both hybrid and virtual, as well as in-person and virtual member-only 1-day conferences. This position will liaise with speakers, help manage, program and curate the content and assist with the marketing of Brand Activation Marketing-focused conferences (Experiential, Promotion, Commerce, Relationship, Influencer, and Content Marketing)

The ANA Awards programs recognize the best of the best in marketing. This position will help co-lead (2) of ANA’s biggest and most successful Awards programs: REGGIE Awards (recognizing the best work in brand activation) and Multicultural Excellence Awards (recognizing the best work in Multicultural Marketing). This individual will assist in participant recruiting, marketing, lead generation, operations, and presentation of winners, among other responsibilities.

Finally, thought leadership is a major priority for the ANA and this position will contribute to thought leadership in areas including Sponsorship/Experiential Marketing and Relationship Marketing.

For the right person, this is a great role. It essentially offers a PhD in marketing, and you’d be on the “inside” of important industry conversations.

This hybrid position is based in New York City with a minimum of two days of on-site work per week. Some domestic travel (10-20%) required.

Position Summary

Position Summary

This position will support all SeeHer efforts around its Gender Equality Measure (GEM®) from a project management, insights and reporting perspective. The GEM methodology is designed to quantify consumer perceptions to the depictions of women in ads and content to uncover unconscious gender biases.

Primary Responsibilities:
• The Manager will oversee all aspects of GEM pre-and-post testing, reporting and insights. This includes overseeing the project management of the testing process from obtaining ad assets from members to preparing them for testing by including relevant coding and cleaning before submitting to our research vendor. The Senior Manager would be the key point of contact with our research vendor to track progress of ad testing. Other responsibilities also include preparing detailed analysis and insights reports and presenting findings as needed to members.
• The Manager will take the lead on managing our GEM database ensuring all tested ads are logged at the member, brand, and category level. They will be responsible for delivering weekly status updates to the SeeHer Membership and Marketing teams on current GEM engagements (testing, workshops, meetings) so that we are communicating with members on an ongoing and strategic basis.
• The role would also require owning our quarterly GEM members reports looking at global and category related insights as well as regularly updating our GEM repository of insights and benchmarks.
• A critical goal is expanding GEM testing among the SeeHer and larger ANA member base. The Manager will support the larger SeeHer research team with this goal by finding innovative ways to socialize GEM through the evolution of the methodology; this could include A/B testing of new methodological frameworks, conducting correlation and attribution studies and/or brand health research. This would also require reviewing new and ongoing member ad campaigns as a means to socialize the value of GEM testing.
• The ideal candidate is an insights professional with a proven track record in crafting research and measurement that drives business goals forward. The candidate should have superior presentation skills, particularly in creating concise and impactful snapshots of research results and recommendations. Familiarity with various media platform measurement as well as knowledge of custom research including qualitative and quantitative studies, focus groups and survey design is a plus.

Position Summary

We are looking for a strong growth marketing leader with a proven track record of driving demand and delivering a healthy pipeline to fuel the next stage of our ambitious growth and transformation. The role requires robust experience with email, paid advertising and social media.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of Position
• Implement and measure multi-channel growth campaigns to promote engagement, retention, and loyalty across email, paid search and display (programmatic) advertising.
• Build an integrated lifecycle strategy, tactical CRM and alignment between business unit objectives and goals and the organization's mission and growth agenda.
• Ensure a “test and learn” culture, where different marketing initiatives are trialed, measured and scaled.
• Lead by example, demonstrating the ability to deliver the “big picture” whilst being in the details, being hands on and driving commercial results.
• Partner with our business units to develop relevant messaging for targeted lifecycle campaigns that are geared to address specific growth or retention opportunities.
• Lead strategy, budgeting and daily operations for digital and traditional acquisition channels.
• Lead development of analytics infrastructure to support management dashboards, segmentation, cohort analysis, A/B testing and modelling.
• Work with colleagues to define customer groups more actively and shape the business towards a more segmented messaging and targeting strategies, delivering a customer experience appropriate for each segment.
• Optimize CRM marketing opportunities to support lead generation, nurture and conversion.
• Manage acquisition spend overall and by channel ensuring adherence to budget and timely reporting
• Lead the assessment and implementation of multi-channel campaign management, audience targeting and analytics tools
• Present to the SVP Marketing and CMO on key trends we’re seeing across all business units and the impact Marketing is having on the outcomes of the business.

A focus on email:
• Subject matter expert on email best practices for content, design, subject lines, list segmentation strategy, scheduling, and deliverability
• Work with stakeholders to achieve editorial excellence across our newsletter products with a focus on developing compelling content that drives conversion
• Own the campaign development process from creation through deployment (i.e., content planning and development, build, QA, deployment, and analysis).
• Own post-campaign analysis by measuring and establishing KPIs and describe trends through weekly/monthly/ad-hoc reporting of results, sharing key insights with stakeholders
• Work with internal and external resources to come up with impactful, engaging copy and visuals
• Experience in building targeted segments and campaigns to better communicate with members and non-members

Attributes/Skills Required
• 10+ years of relevant marketing experience, with expertise in digital conversion strategies and innovation across mobile, web and email channels
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or other related degree.
• Experience in new templates initiatives, models and test and learn roadmaps
• Able to develops strong partnerships; recognized as a team player and working collaboratively with strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills
• High energy, solutions oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Curious and analytical, with the ability to take data, distill it, and use to drive current and future strategies
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High degree of professionalism and flexibility - equally comfortable working independently and as a team.
• Creative, with a diverse perspective that makes campaign creative stand out.

Salary and Total Rewards Package

Starting pay range: $140,000 to $150,000, based on relevant experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Accounts Payable
• Manage the day-to-day accounts payable function
• Create, update and maintain AP vendor profiles
• Onboard suppliers, request W-9 forms and assess if they are 1099 eligible
• Review invoices for accuracy, purpose, and tax charges
• Understand basic accounting to ensure proper expense coding
• Enforce ANA policy and guidelines to attain proper documentation and approvals
• Enter invoices daily into the accounting system
• Process weekly ACH / wire or check payments
• Code and monitor employee expense reports to ensure proper reimbursement, request missing receipts and question charges for more information
• Maintain physical and electronic filing systems for audit
• Familiar with sales and use tax and its reporting requirements
• Reconcile vendor statements, respond to vendor inquiries and resolve / investigate any invoice discrepancies or questionable charges
• Request copies of outstanding invoices and credits
• Manage annual 1099 reporting
• Fill out credit applications forms for new vendors

Other
• Assist with month end closing accruals
• Expense Account Analysis
• Ad-hoc accounting projects and reports

Qualifications
• Relevant Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in accounts payable, credit card reconciliations, or accounts receivable billing function
• Solid math and Excel skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills – interacting with different departments within the organization
• Strong MS Office skills – Word/Excel/Outlook
• Deadline driven and detail-oriented
• Team player with the ability to work collaboratively

Salary and Total Rewards Package:

Starting pay range: $45,000 to $55,000, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
