Position Summary
This position will primarily focus on the management and optimization of ANA Awards Programs. ANA Awards have been on a 4-year growth trajectory, and they aren’t slowing down. This position is being created to help implement and continue the growth of ANA’s existing awards programs, plus assist in launching new initiatives to optimize ANA’s portfolio of awards in ways that provide new opportunities for learning, engagement, and revenue. The position reports to the Vice President, Awards. Responsibilities will include:
• Assist in crafting and implementation of impactful program messaging, creation of presentations, and marketing / PR assets for program amplification & promotions.
• Play a key role in the annual “launch preparations” for each awards program from online competition platform preparation to creation of program timelines.
• Lead on knowledge of the awards competition OpenWater platform capabilities, operations, and latest enhancements
• Work on award show production elements including organization of creative files, script writing, proofing, signage, etc.
• Potentially assist with on-site implementation of awards shows (some travel may be required)
• Assist with the fulfillment and sales of award trophies
• Assist in curation of awards program data for various ANA departments and vendors
• Assist with coordination of research and thought leadership initiatives involving award programs
• Assist with preparation of new award products including educational workshops, entry audits, Top Teams ranking, etc.
• Assist in development of ways to improve and streamline/automate various awards tasks and processes
About the ANA Awards Programs:
The ANA provides opportunities to celebrate and recognize great marketing and innovative thinking from the industry’s leading brands. There are currently seven award programs offered: B2 Awards, In-House Excellence Awards, Multicultural Excellence Awards, REGGIE Awards, EEC Awards, The GEM Awards, and Rising Marketing Stars. Qualifications:
• BS/BA degree plus prior internship and/or 1-3+ years’ work experience in meetings/events, public relations, or marketing communications experience

Committees are forums attracting client-side marketers and marketing service providers that bring members together for peer-to-peer learning, benchmarking, best practice sharing, networking, and addressing industry issues. Committee members are from companies who are a “who’s who” roster of corporate America. Each committee meets approximately 5 - 6 times a year (2 - 3x in-person and 3x virtually) and this position will help set-up, manage, program, analyze and curate the content for those meetings.

Finally, thought leadership is a major priority for the ANA and this position will contribute to thought leadership in areas including Sponsorship/Experiential Marketing and Relationship Marketing.
For the right person, this is a great role. It essentially offers a PhD in marketing, and you’d be on the “inside” of important industry conversations.
This hybrid position is based in New York City with a minimum of two days of on-site work per week. Some domestic travel (10-20%) required.

Position Summary
This is an outstanding opportunity for a sharp, driven and experienced marketing and branding leader who will help shape and guide the ANA’s important role in the marketing landscape by building brand awareness and loyalty, strengthening community and stakeholder relationships, and ensuring all communication activities are strategic, cohesive and consistent with ANA’s business goals. Essential Functions and Responsibilities of Position
Brand Management

• Ensure that brand is infused throughout the organization’s communication strategy
• Communicate research and recommendations to senior leadership and business unit leads as they relate to ANA’s products, brand, image, strategy, and media spend

Marketing and Planning

This position will support all SeeHer efforts around its Gender Equality Measure (GEM®) from a project management, insights and reporting perspective. The GEM methodology is designed to quantify consumer perceptions to the depictions of women in ads and content to uncover unconscious gender biases.

• Own the campaign development process from creation through deployment (i.e., content planning and development, build, QA, deployment, and analysis).
• Own post-campaign analysis by measuring and establishing KPIs and describe trends through weekly/monthly/ad-hoc reporting of results, sharing key insights with stakeholders
• Work with internal and external resources to come up with impactful, engaging copy and visuals
• Experience in building targeted segments and campaigns to better communicate with members and non-members
Attributes/Skills Required
• 10+ years of relevant marketing experience, with expertise in digital conversion strategies and innovation across mobile, web and email channels
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or other related degree.
• Experience in new templates initiatives, models and test and learn roadmaps
• Able to develops strong partnerships; recognized as a team player and working collaboratively with strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills

Accounts Payable
• Manage the day-to-day accounts payable function
• Create, update and maintain AP vendor profiles
• Onboard suppliers, request W-9 forms and assess if they are 1099 eligible
• Review invoices for accuracy, purpose, and tax charges
• Understand basic accounting to ensure proper expense coding
• Enforce ANA policy and guidelines to attain proper documentation and approvals
• Enter invoices daily into the accounting system
• Process weekly ACH / wire or check payments
• Code and monitor employee expense reports to ensure proper reimbursement, request missing receipts and question charges for more information
• Maintain physical and electronic filing systems for audit
• Familiar with sales and use tax and its reporting requirements
• Reconcile vendor statements, respond to vendor inquiries and resolve / investigate any invoice discrepancies or questionable charges
• Request copies of outstanding invoices and credits
• Manage annual 1099 reporting
• Fill out credit applications forms for new vendors
