Ancestry is looking for a project-based temporary Archival Digitization
Specialist to work on a contract basis in Cincinnati, OH. We ask that you are a
technical person with experience working with digitization, archival
documents, and goal oriented projects. You are efficient, show great care
for detail, and are accustomed to independent work in an environment that
handles focused and repetitive tasks. This is a full-time opportunity working
Monday through Friday from 9 am - 5 pm MDT and will last for 2-3 months. You will report to the Domestic Remote Senior Imaging Manager. This is not a work-from-home position. This
position is contract-based and is not eligible for Ancestry benefits.
Compensation will be $15/hr.
What You Will Do:
• You will capture digital images of documents as specified by our company
• You will perform quality audits on each roll that have been scanned before transmission
• You will report progress and quality audit notes and enter data into spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
• You will initiate and maintain responsibility of the delivery or transmission of images to the corporate office
• You will perform regular equipment maintenance functions, and coordinate for machine maintenance with third-party hardware service providers
• You will perform basic image enhancement and file organization tasks
• You will maintain professional relationships with partners that protect the image and mission of Ancestry.com
Who You Are:
• You can manage several projects and determine project urgency in a practical way
• You have experience anticipating problems, and finding creative ways to solve them

Senior Creative Director - US Remote
Ancestry is looking for a Senior Creative Director to help drive and provide direction to external agency partners responsible for creative across the funnel (branded and performance) in the Ancestry US market. Evolve the creative brand strategy, expression and interpretation pure and at its highest level across multiple channels, including television, digital display advertising, CRM, onsite, social media, and search marketing.
Direct, inspire and ensure in-house creative teams, external agencies and third-party resources are providing the highest level of copywriting, art direction, and design possible, providing daily approvals and direction on creative assignments in US markets.
Provide creative strategic oversight of direct reports, creative directors and staff within the US Market.
What You Will Do
• Accountable for the creative effectiveness as measured by our internal metrics/targets.

As a Supplier Operations Manager you will play a critical role in every aspect of quality control and fulfillment of our DNA kits to our customers.
What you'll do...
• Own day to day relationship with one or more key supply partners. Such as laboratory, fulfillment, clearing house, manufacturing, transportation or bio-bank suppliers to insure SLA adherence, negotiation, quality standards, accuracy of billing etc.
• Lead weekly meetings with suppliers. Working with various levels at our supplier partners including Operations Managers and Account Managers.
• Compile data for monthly and quarterly business reviews
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and customer experience
• Assist in the definition and documentation of processes
• Drive quality through regular quality check processes
• Communicate across multiple teams within Ancestry to address exceptions
• Work closely with customer service to follow up on customer issues requiring additional research and coordination
• Inventory reporting and assist in forecasting and coordination of purchasing

The Genomic Algorithms team processes Ancestry DNA customers through multiple algorithms to do things such as determine DNA matches, estimate genetic ethnicity, and predict physical traits. As a Software Engineer intern, on the Genomic Algorithms team you will contribute to the team's DNA Pipeline such as automation improvements, resource optimization, and implementation of new algorithm updates.
