Responsibilities
The Senior Software Engineer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Begins to influence department - s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure
• .NET ADO
• Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Major Roles and Responsibilities
• Install cable pathway systems (cable trays, cable racks, J-hooks or D-rings).
• Install, terminate, test, label and document horizontal, backbone and other cables.
• Dress and route cable into telecommunications closets, modular furniture and other work areas.
• Build out telecommunication and equipment rooms.
• Fire-stop various types of cable penetrations.
• Test, troubleshoot, and document test results for cabling.
• Must have ability to install, terminate and test low voltage cables & fiber optic cables (to include twisted pair cable, coax, power limited tray cable, standard & solid conductor low voltage cable, single mode & multi-mode fiber optic cables).
• Perform other duties as needs arise.

Proactively explore methods and tools to improve the overall development process.
Make recommendations and assist in the implementation of new processes and tools
Facilitate and assist in the task estimation process
Skills
• Must have experience with RailRoad/Transportation client
• Strong professional experience with Microsoft .NET/C# engineering development background with emphasis on enterprise grade development and quality standards
• Strong Web API / Web Services
• Experience with Agile/Iterative/Scrum development experience
• Proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills
