Prior military leadership experience; Company level leadership desired, either as an Officer or Non-Commissioned Officer.

Must be able to operate general office equipment including but not limited to: computer, phones and related media and information devices on most or all workdays.

Primary Purpose: Coordinate, plan, and facilitate properly constituted ARD meetings. Oversee the entire evaluation process for designated campuses. Ensure compliance with state mandated timelines. Major Duties and Responsibilities: ●
• Plan and schedule ARD meetings in a timely manner. Communicate dates and times to parents and staff.
• Prepare and maintain an ARD meeting calendar for assigned schools and notify all appropriate staff and attendees of changes/cancellations of meetings.
• Meet all timelines within TEA guidelines for annual and initial meetings.
• Meet all timelines within TEA guidelines in responding to parent requests for special education evaluations.
• Communicate with and schedule evaluation staff and/or third party evaluators who are completing required evaluations.
• Monitor and assist campus staff in completing ARD documents.
• Schedule and participate in ARD meetings, staffings, and student success committee (SSC) meetings.
• Bring the appropriate knowledge of federal and state special education law regarding initial evaluations when participating in SSC meetings.
• Compose and send to parents Prior Written Notice when required.
• Verify the accuracy of PEIMS reports and any other special education data collection materials.
• Coordinate with evaluators to ensure all required materials have been sent to parents and staff, and that ARD meetings are scheduled in a timely manner to review evaluation results.
• Ensure all federal and state requirements are met in conducting ARD meetings.
• Prepare paperwork for ARD meetings.
• Compile, maintain, and archive all reports, records, and other ARD documents.
• Comply with district policies and procedures.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
