Job Overview:

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides first class service by representing ASCAP to its licensing customers. The CSR will need to communicate with customers via telephone, email, and Live chat using professional and pleasant etiquette when answering inbound customer inquiries. They will adhere to our core value of One Call Resolution -- to meet customers’ needs in one single interaction -- which includes answering customer questions and objections, re-selling the benefits of the ASCAP Blanket license, and resolving delinquent balances on accounts by asking for payments.

• Convey difficult to understand concepts in layman's terms both over the telephone and in writing
• Resolve routine and complex issues independently
• Accurately process payments that adhere to PCI compliance guidelines

Qualifications and Requirements:

Licensing Associate (Inside Sales):

Established in 1914, ASCAP is the first and leading Performing Rights Organization (PRO) in the United States. ASCAP protects the rights of its members by licensing and distributing royalties for the non-dramatic public performances of their copyrighted works. Job Description:

The Membership Coordinator will play an important role supporting the creative, strategic goals and initiatives of the Membership Pop/Rock department in the ASCAP Los Angeles office. Job Overview:

This position is integral to the Strategy and Development team, which is responsible for the growth and competitive strategy of ASCAP, as well as for business development, product development, strategic partnerships, alliances / joint ventures, data strategy, administration services, and other key business functions. Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills. This role's primary focus is on security tools data, configuration, and usability, plus working with developers/platform engineers/endpoint engineers to design secure systems, networks and applications. They will work with Sr. Security Analysts to investigate and respond to security event alerts, manage technical aspects of incident response, work on third party applications/services reviews and the organizations vulnerability management program.

The person in this role will need to prioritize and ensure the timely completion of tasks from the scrum masters and management. Responsibilities:
• Configures, manages, and uses security systems, security monitoring and alerting applications, and security management tools
• Researches, evaluates, tests, and assists on implementation of new security solutions
• Works closely with Sr. Security Analysts and Security Platform Engineers to investigate and resolve security related events

Job Description

The Research Analyst works as part of the International Affairs team and has an inquisitive approach to identifying and analyzing relevant data with the aim of producing insights for use by the International Affairs team and maximizing foreign royalties for ASCAP members.

The analyst initiates and performs a wide-ranging set of analytical research projects and delivers logical, evidence-based results. The ability to build trend analysis, identify data issues, and highlight opportunities for the wider business are important areas of proficiency. An eye for detail and self-driven curiosity to spot the trends, anomalies and deviations in market data are a must, as well as having a creative and open approach to building and presenting results.

Areas of Responsibility/ Accountability

The analyst focuses on two primary areas: market analysis and distribution analysis.

Market Analysis:
• Utilize a combination of contextual and fact-based analysis to research, collate, and appraise music industry statistics and business practices by country, region and performance category across the globe, utilizing third party data and press for purposes of benchmarking and identifying issues and areas of opportunity
• Merge market analysis insights with other areas of analysis to explore unusual observations and enhance business intelligence
• Undertake the research and analysis required to continually modify and improve the scope of market analysis to meet the needs of the business

Distribution Analysis:
• Perform quantitative analysis on foreign royalty distribution data
• Build trend analysis and benchmark performance against market analysis to drive business intelligence and identify pockets of opportunity to generate revenue
• Aid in the preparation and presentation of analysis findings for the wider business to encourage better understanding of market trends and subsequent revenue movements to help identify priorities for new tracking analysis
• Assist other internal business units who require the derivation of insights from the foreign distribution data sent to ASCAP
• Maximize ASCAP members’ foreign revenue by utilizing market and distribution analysis findings to identify areas under monetization and make subsequent claims to collecting societies
• Liaise with foreign collecting society partners and proactively monitor progress
• Identify and ideate new areas of opportunity for maximizing claims

General:
• Aid in the compilation of insights related to all the above into presentations and concisely communicate findings to management
• Address requests for business information from all internal business units and external customers (e.g., writers, managers, collection societies)

Qualifications and Requirements

Job Specific Skills:
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to perform complex quantitative analysis utilizing Excel and SQL

• Conceptual thinking – the ability to solve problems with a common sense, process driven approach

Job Description

The Adjustment and Distribution Analyst shares the overall responsibility for ensuring that successful processing of adjustment transactions (corrections to previous distributions). Additional responsibilities include assisting other departments, with data-related questions and troubleshooting.
