Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Plant Manager to join our Life Sciences business at our Fiskeville, RI location. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the Life Sciences business. This position will report to the manufacturing director.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Maintaining a safe work environment for all site employees and visitors while complying with all local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations and company guidelines
• Developing and implementing a strategic plan for the site and balancing its immediate needs with the long-term goals of the company
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and facilitate implementation of initiatives that improve the profitability of the site.
• Management of onsite production and shipping operations to ensure adequate material supply and on-time delivery to customers
• Management of contract manufacturing operations
• Working closely with support organizations to resolve production issues, quality issues, improve efficiency, respond to customer complaints, and support on-time deliveries of finished goods

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or technical discipline
• Ability to lead, influence, build, and develop a cross-functional team across various skill sets
• Experience working within and complying with all governmental regulations (OSHA, EPA, FDA, etc.) and reporting requirements
• Proficient in all MS Office software and ability to quickly learn job-specific systems

The CDL Operator will be responsible for the transportation of industrial cleaning equipment and materials to and from all job sites.

• Drives company vehicles with valid license. If DOT driver, complies with all DOT regulations and record-keeping
• Safety operates and maintains assigned truck

• Adheres to Federal, State and Company regulations
• Responsible for hookup and breakdown of equipment using proper tools and procedures
• When not driving, will perform a range of general laboring duties with the industrial cleaning team
• Completes service log, service receipts and other paperwork associated with the work performed
• Cleans up work area and equipment after work is complete
• Ensures quality company standards

Memorial Regional Medical Center has been named one of America's 50 Best Hospitals by Our multifunctional lab brings a more advanced approach to cardiac diagnosis and treatment to our Hanover community and surrounding counties.
Our lab consolidates comprehensive cardiac services into one shared and highly efficient location. Here at Memorial, we currently have 1 EP room, 3 Cath lab procedural rooms, and 6 recovery bays.
Our recovery area is unique in that serves as a PACU recovering both our TAVR and Mitral Clip patients as well as our post procedural Cath/EP patients.
At Memorial Regional, our Cath lab performs state of the art procedures such as TAVR's (Transaortic valve replacement) , Mitral Clips and Watchman (Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion Device), as well as averaging a large volume of radial and femoral artery catheterizations every month.
Our EP lab performs all types of ablations as well as ICD's, Pacemakers and EP studies, which looks for abnormal heart arrhythmias.
Teamwork is an essential part in any Cath/EP lab.
Because each role is unique in how it operates, it's important to work together as a team to ensure the completion of the procedure and a positive patient outcome.
Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
The Nurse Manager is responsible for the integration, facilitation, and coordination of administrative and
clinical practice for the assigned nursing unit(s) with twenty-four hour accountability. Provides management and clinical support to other nursing units and house-wide as required. Serves as a
professional role model, mentor, and clinical resource/educator for nurses and other members of the
health care team. Develops unit goals and objectives with staff based on analysis of clinical and
managerial processes to improve patient outcomes and create a culture of excellence. Represents the
unit and is a liaison to internal and external customers. Participates in professional development activities and is active on hospital-wide committees. Demonstrates various styles of management. Participates in unit budget development, responsible for monitoring and variance analysis.
II. Employment Qualifications
Must be a graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing. A BSN or higher degree in
Nursing is required/MSN preferred.
Must possess current license as a Registered Nurse from the State of Virginia or awaiting reciprocity.
Must maintain current CPR certification.
Work requires knowledge of organization and operation of a patient care unit and nursing care techniques and methods.
Possess knowledge generally acquired through three to five years of experience as a professional nurse, with progressively more responsibility and experience appropriate to specialty area.
Must have a broad based knowledge of clinical, psychological, and pathophysiological theories relating to nursing diagnosis and treatment, Possesses the ability to perform the range of nursing techniques found in general nursing practice including the unusual and non-routine as normally acquired through three to five years' experience as a professional nurse.
Previous work experience in a supervisory or charge nurse position that required knowledge of financial management and personnel supervision and practice.
