Job Summary
The Program manager will be Responsible for assisting the director with maintaining the overarching vision, strategy, and a theoretical background for the Center of Excellence for Community Engagement, including working across The University in identifying target audiences and outcomes, design and creation of new programs, liaison between The CECE, ASU and the community partnerships, department planning, organization of initiatives, the development, training and supervision of the Faculty, Staff and Students, and budget administration and financial productivity. The Program Manager of the CECE will actively participate and support in Center operation-based activities, meetings and decision-making.
Responsibilities
• Support strategic development of the CECE plan based on the review and assessment of current programs, initiatives, goals and objectives to promote and fulfill the objectives of the CECE grant and specifically build and maintain community partnerships.
• Assist the director and identified community partners with driving a social innovation thread across all programming by expanding access to and engagement in, inquiry, assessment for all audiences, and particularly for underserved communities in the greater Albany area.
• Support organizational assessment and monitoring of the current structure of the CECE to ensure that the department is operating efficiently and the structure best supports future initiatives
• Through audience research, support the creation and evaluation of new programs, as needed, to ensure the ongoing growth and development of identified program objectives.
• Support the director with the managing day-to-day operations of the CECE including management and oversight of the budgetary responsibilities, cultivation of community partners maintaining strong communication throughout all levels of employee, and ongoing leadership, guidance, and development.
• Support the development of a strong education and community outreach program and strive to develop partnerships, cultural competencies and programs that connect the increasingly diverse communities of Albany and surrounding areas with the CECE, ASU and its mission.

Required Qualifications

Serve as a public relations agent for the department by developing positive relationships with media representatives from various media outlets utilizing traditional sports information and new media avenues.Prepare media releases for local, state, regional and national newspapers, magazines, radio and TV stations and social media sites. Location
Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 111.
Job Summary
This is routine manual work exercising maximum supervision over custodial personnel in the performance of routine cleaning duties. The Custodial Lead’s work involves responsibility for a variety of cleaning tasks performed in and around buildings. Employees of this class work independently and reviews work performed by a group of custodial employees. Supervision is received from the Manager who checks work for adherence to establish practices and schedules.
Responsibilities
• Supervises and participates in sweeping, dusting, waxing mopping, scrubbing, washing windows, walls, doors, floors, furniture and other equipment in and around buildings and grounds
• Delivers, receives and transport goods to buildings
• Serves as lead person for special projects crew
• Assumes some Superintendent duties in Superintendent¿s absence
• Trains employees
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Weekend and after normal hours duties will be required
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
3 years' experience in Custodial Services
Must possess a valid Georgia Driver's license
Proposed Salary
Salary range is from $30,000 to $35,000
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Considerable knowledge of a wide variety of cleaning materials, methods, equipment, supplies and procedures
Considerable knowledge of the use and care of a variety of cleaning equipment
Ability to review and carry out oral and written instructions
Ability to plan and organize routine work details
Ability to instruct, train and supervise employees in cleaning and related activities
