PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARENT LIMITED TO:
• Development and support of internal applications to assist sales order management and customer support processes.
• Participate in meetings and contribute to establishing priorities, timelines, and requirements for said projects.
• Success will be measured against your abilities to perform against the following:
• Ability to create realistic timelines for projects and whether your deliverables are completed within time projections and consistent with the provided requirements. Ability to exhibit an understanding of the VelocityEHS customer needs, the VelocityEHS business needs and show the ability to balance the priorities of the two even when they conflict.
• Degree to which you are flexible and willing to adjust priorities and projects if needs dictate.
• Ability to communicate issues or problems in a timely manner.
• How you involve others in your decision making process where appropriate. Conversely your ability to make decisions on your own when the input of others is not needed or is redundant.
• Ability to test your own code and review other developers' code prior to hand-off.

Minimum Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
• 5 years of development experience
• Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as part of a team or individually with a specific direction
• Ability to communicate effectively with business unit stakeholders of varying technical ability when
required by project objectives
• Attention to Detail, Strong teamwork skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must be willing to occasionally work extended hours to meet deadlines and goals

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
• 2 years of development in a SAAS environment
• Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of any JavaScript library, preferably React
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL

Working within a small team and under limited supervision, the successful applicant must be able to work collaboratively and is responsible for all aspects of food purchase, preparation, delivery and expenditure reporting in relation to official events.

The Chef should be proficient across a broad range of culinary skills, with knowledge of different cuisines, specialty ingredients, baking and patisserie. Experience in either a similar residence or a commercial kitchen is essential.

Food preparation

Kitchen management

Event Coordination

• Liaise with Residence and Events Manager and the Social Secretary regarding catering for the Ambassador’s official meals, receptions and events;

• Liaise with Residence and Events Manager to ensure ingredient and stock purchases for catering is undertaken in accordance with Embassy financial policies;

• Assist in the preparation of the residence for events (movement/rearranging of furniture, coordination of decorations, general presentation);

• Assist in greeting guests, banquet waiting and wine service;

• Speaking on Australian culinary culture and menu offerings as requested by the Ambassador and/or guests.

General household

• Assist in arrangements for the Ambassador’s official houseguests;

We are seeking several experienced, reliable, engaging and flexible candidates at both the APS 6 and EL 1 levels, who can bring expertise and passion to improving the online safety of Australians.

Our ideal candidates will have qualifications and leadership experience in training and content development, including in scalable training solutions. They will also have a proven ability to present to and educate different audiences, including frontline workers, community and sporting groups, workplaces and others. Frontline workers include, but are not limited to, domestic and family violence specialist support services, law enforcement officers, court officers, legal services, family and children services, disability support services, allied health and primary health services.

There are several roles available for eSafety’s awareness, capacity building and training work. These roles are being offered at the APS 6 and EL 1 level. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that will refine and drive eSafety’s strategic direction in this area.

You will work across the Education, Prevention and Inclusion Branch to educate and build capacity on online safety issues, as well as raise awareness of the functions of the eSafety Commissioner.

You will use your specialist skills to develop tailored and targeted resources that will add to eSafety’s broader suite of online safety guidance and the online safety evidence base. You will also deliver workshops and training sessions that build stakeholder capacity on online safety issues.
