About The Role...
Kickstart your career with the UK’s largest digital automotive platform by joining our new intake of Customer Service Apprentices.
You’ll join our Customer Operations team and help our customers get the best out of our products and services. We’ll help build your understanding of the automotive industry and grow your knowledge of our data, products, and services.
As a Customer Operations Apprentice, you’ll work with various customers. People who want to buy and sell vehicles themselves and retailers who sell a high volume of vehicles through our services. You’ll manage queries via phone, live chat, and emails. You’ll make recommendations by understanding the problem and help provide solutions across our digital products and services, collaborating with our operational and technical teams to help resolve underlying issues.
You’ll also help and be part of our online car buying experience, ensuring our customers have an incredible customer experience.
Throughout the apprenticeship, you will work with and be supported by our talented teams. As you develop in role and successfully complete your apprenticeship you will progress to the role of Customer Operations Analyst in one of three customer facing teams. This will be an excellent platform for a career in various roles within our operational or technical teams at Auto Trader.
As a Customer Operations Apprentice, you will complete a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner OR Level 3 Customer Service Specialist Apprenticeship with an external training provider.
What We’re Looking For

• You are a natural problem solver who enjoys working with customers and identifying trends/patterns
• You are inquisitive and ask questions to deepen your knowledge, learning and sharing knowledge within the team
• You will be friendly and have excellent written and verbal communication skills, which will enable you to build relationships with different types of people
• You have strong prioritisation skills and a calm approach that will help you deal with multiple tasks effectively
• You enjoy using technology and all things digital
The Customer Service Apprenticeship typically lasts 18 months, requiring dedication, a love of learning, and a genuine aim to succeed. This is a permanent role, and the apprenticeship will support your learning and development and help you transition into a range of permanent job opportunities within Auto Trader.

We offer a salary of £19,500 dependent on experience and a flexible benefits package to support your health and well-being.
