Full-Time Patient Service Support position is located in West Orange, NJ.

Hours: 8 hour shift 9-5 or 11-7 Mondays and Fridays 9-5 per diem

The PSR will be responsible for greeting patients, activating patient files, and for providing support to patients and medical staff. Job duties include but are not limited to:
• Promptly and professionally answers telephone calls (as well as retrieve messages that are received via answering service). Route calls appropriately, offering voicemail, paging, or redirection of calls as needed.
• Greet patients/visitors and assist and direct them accordingly. Phone or page employees to meet visitors, directs visitors to appropriate waiting areas, and appropriately and courteously screen solicitors for relevance to organizational needs.
• Explain financial requirements to patients; collect and record copays as required.
• Perform registration functions for new and existing patients.
• Schedule patient appointments per guidelines given and finalize patient schedules for previous day.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all patients.
• Adhere to infection control/safety guidelines and confidentiality policies through HIPAA compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Sonographer at Harmony OB/GYN in Edison, NJ.

The Sonographer provides ultrasound diagnostic services as directed by physicians including scheduling, patient care during procedure and communication with patients. This position is working with high risk OB patients and requires detailed scans throughout all trimesters.
• Performs routine and diagnostic ultrasound images.
• Interacts with physicians and other technical staff to provide quality, safe and efficient care for the patient.
• Follows guidelines for probe handling and infection control.
• Follows examination protocols under the guidance of the physicians on duty.
• Oversees patient scheduling.
• Explains procedures to assure cooperation and optimum test results.
• Positions patients, selects appropriate transducers and machine settings.
• Conducts scanning procedures.
• Ensures maintenance on ultrasound equipment.
• Orders and stocks all ultrasound supplies.
• Maintains all ultrasound records, reports and files.
• Demonstrates flexibility and responsiveness in handling all customer interactions.

Performs all other duties as may be assigned from time-to-time.

OB Experience Required And MFM Experience Is Preferred.

Must be ARDMS certified in OBGYN.
