-In this role, you will be supporting the development of the Arizona Social Vulnerability Index. You will be responsible for meeting with partners, documenting their stories, and developing content that will be added to a new public data dashboard. This will round out our data-heavy tool by highlighting community assets and framing quantitative data with the perspective of our partners and the systems that impact their communities. You'll also review existing datasets and literature about social determinants of health in the state as well as policies and other factors that impact community health. You will bring together the stories and data you gather and design pages of content including infographics to add to the dashboard. You will have multiple opportunities to present your content to an external advisory group of public health experts and to revise it based on their feedback.
-You will have the opportunity to have your content displayed in the final dashboard as a resource to the public and the public health workforce who will use it to address health inequities across their communities.
-You will be coached and mentored by the Data Equity Coordinator, Health Equity Administrator, and/or others on the team by collaborating with them on group projects.

You will work closely on our Boosters for Seniors Campaign which focuses on increasing the uptake of bivalent COVID-19 boosters among older Arizonians, especially those residing in long-term care facilities.
-You will have the opportunity to provide in-person and virtual health education/promotion including webinars, outreach at public health conferences, and "lunch and learns" and promotion surrounding COVID-19 to diverse audiences, as well as vaccine-related technical assistance.

You will have the ability to learn about ways in which healthcare and financial data can be used to improve patient care and deliver value to the business. The position will be challenging to work with team members to solve complex problems by blending data from multiple sources and addressing quality issues in order to ensure accurate, timely, and relevant data is presented through the use of data analytics & information visualization.
-You will also have the opportunity to leverage Tableau to consume Human Resources data sets to develop interactive organizational charts for use by the Arizona State Hospital, and Arizona Department of Health Services in hiring, promotion, and other HR activities.
-You will be coached and mentored by the ASH IT Sr. Project Manager, ASH Data Analyst Lead, and/or others on the team by collaborating with them on group projects.
