The Options desk makes markets in a range of Interest Rate Derivatives principally in USD, and risk manages the resulting interest rate delta, gamma and vega exposure. The Exotics desk engages in complex Bermudan and other interest rate derivatives denominated in USD. The desk manages risk across interest rate delta, vega and correlation.
As a part of the desk, the individual would be responsible for:
• Carry out trading activities including, but not limited to: timely, accurate, and consistent pricing and execution of the desk’s product range in line with NatWest Markets policy; daily risk management of the desk’s books using appropriate hedging instruments; accurate, complete, and timely booking and recording of the desk’s transactions; and daily review of the activities of the desk and reconciliation of its P&L (flash and actual) and risk
• Take all reasonable steps to ensure own trading activities are in line with NatWest Markets policies covering market, conduct, operational, credit, and regulatory risks

• Ensure the regulatory filings in relation to maintenance of segregated funds are timely and accurate
• Develop operational and product skills and build personal knowledge through training and coaching.
• Act as a contact for exchanges and internal and external audits for Futures and deliver high quality outcomes.
• Work closely with traders, sales people, and other operations teams to provide the highest level of operational support, both regionally and globally.

• Maintain and update documentation of all procedures, processes and key controls where required.
• Design and compile metrics for KRIs and KPIs. Analyze and deliver better ways to improve operational performance at the firm and at our third party provider.
• Identify control gaps and efficiency barriers to develop new ways of working, improve controls and deliver cost-efficient solutions. Ensure the timely escalation of potential risk and control issues.
• Perform project work in collaboration with other teams, regionally and globally, to deliver on the bank’s strategy.
• Maintain effective partnerships with customers, stakeholders and colleagues. Act as a point of contact for all OTC Rates derivatives and futures-related issues and projects.
Skills and Experience
• 5+ years of experience in Interest Rate Derivatives and Futures / FCM Operations role.
• Proficiency and strong understanding of OTC products (swaps, swaptions, some exotics), exchange traded derivatives and the full product lifecycle.
• Understand trade flow and the front to back operations processes including key elements of trade capture, reconciliation and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Adaptability to learn new tasks and demonstrate a willingness to understand the details of a process.
• Extremely detail oriented, hard-worker, positive attitude and enthusiasm for solving complex problems.
• Strong PC skills with Excel and relevant industry systems including Markitserv and CME applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team and collaborate across business areas.
The expected base annual salary range for this position is $75,000 - $120,000 at the start of employment. This is not a guarantee of compensation. The exact compensation is determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on skills, experience, training licensure, certifications and location. What you'll do
Our Mobile Branch banking service provides local communities with vital access to branch banking needs. You’ll be acting as the first point of contact to customers in these locations, processing transactions, answering queries and identifying opportunities to help and refer them to specialists across the bank. We’ll also be looking to you to follow safe and secure mobile branch operating processes, making sound health and safety decisions for colleagues and customers using the service.

The Compliance Advisory Officer will also be able to manage compliance and regulatory related projects, working with the broader Legal and Compliance team and cross-functionally. Key Responsibilities
• Provide guidance on rules and regulations relating to the business, supporting functions, product issues, as well as, provide transactional approvals and interpretation of compliance policies.
• Provide subject matter expertise on rules and regulations pertaining to fixed income sales and trading including but not limited to CFTC Swap Dealer Rules, TRACE Reporting, Primary Dealer Rules, and FINRA rules.
• Assist with regulatory inquiries and examinations. This may include coordination with Legal, Regulatory Affairs, other departments within the firm and regulators.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as legal, business risk management, operations, finance and other control functions to address compliance issues which may impact the function, business, or product.
