DEFINITION: The work of this classification is to uphold and promote supplier diversity for a Procurement Center of Excellence within Baltimore County Public Schools (BCPS). Responsibilities include interpretation of regulation, policy and procedure related to the implementation of the supplier diversity program at BCPS. Evaluate and monitor contract performance, specifically as related to Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Small Business Enterprise (SBE) goals. Evaluate the effectiveness of the MBE/SBE program at BCPS and identify ways to uphold and support the program. Develop and implement community outreach activities and MBE/SBE program events.
