Job Duties:

Leadership Responsibilities
• Works collectively with the other members of the Digital Assets team to identify and implement value added digital solutions for the Alliance Program
• Participates in special projects to enhance the overall value of Alliance Program
• Attends Alliance team meetings as requested by Alliance Team Executive Director or Operations Managing Director
• Attends and supports the annual Alliance Conference

Task Responsibilities
• Designs and implements complex web applications written in the Drupal framework
• Writes front and back-end code in support of Alliance applications, interfaces, and other systems
• Supports the development of solutions that further integrate the digital information of the Alliance program
• Supports and responds to operations issues that arise with key Alliance program systems
• Identifies and fixes bugs that are found within code
• Creates unit tests to verify the web application is operating as expected
• Writes documentation for applications and systems as appropriate
• Performs assigned and other “back-up” responsibilities of other Digital Assets team members to always ensure responsiveness to client firms
• Works with other team members on Alliance technology matters such as determining how new and existing technology solutions can be most effectively used
• Stays abreast of technology developments to bring a value-added experience to Alliance Firms and the BDO Alliance program
• Informs BDO Alliance leadership team members of key developments and issues as appropriate
• Encourages utilization of the Alliance technology by Alliance firms
• Provides training in technology solutions as needed

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:
• High School Diploma or GED, required
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred

Experience:
• Three (3) or more years of experience demonstrating:
• High level knowledge of PHP (versions 7.X and 8.X) and the Drupal framework (versions 9 & 10), required
• Knowledge of front-end languages such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, required
• Knowledge of the Source Control systems (GIT), required
• Three (3) or more years of experience demonstrating:
• Knowledge of Unix and familiarity with Hosting Providers (Acquia), preferred
• Familiarity with decoupled technologies (React, Vue or Angular), preferred

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.

Range: $80,000 - $110,000
