The Nonprofit & Grantmaker Advisory team is a growth-oriented management consulting team dedicated to building the capacity of the nonprofit sector. We partner with our nonprofit and philanthropic clients to help them attain operational excellence, ensure financial sustainability, and effectively achieve their desired impact. Our collaborative approach includes client input and involvement at each stage of an engagement.
Job Duties
Responsibilities vary based on engagements and client needs and require an independent and multi-talented professional with solid nonprofit management expertise and a consulting mindset.
Client Service Delivery
• Supports organizations in organizational transition in financial management or operations and making sound financial and operational decisions
• Provides senior level financial management or operations services, which may include month end reviews, audit management, budget development, financial planning, financial system implementation, and operations team support
• Supports client leadership teams in making strategic decisions including presenting analysis and findings and effectively communicating complicated information to a variety of audiences
• Assists in complying with new nonprofit financial reporting and disclosure standards
• Conducts fiscal infrastructure assessments and provides insight into organizational financial sustainability
• Oversees grant compliance and restricted funding requirements for an organization
• Analyzes current processes, systems, and procedures and makes recommendations to ensure best practices and keeps abreast of changing regulatory environments
Relationship Management
• Develops and maintains current and potential/new client relationships, serving as a key contact for small to mid-size nonprofit organizations
• Leads client engagement team through means of training, guidance, and coaching
• Supports client delivery teams in ad-hoc projects that support Client Service Delivery
Travels up to 10% of the time

• Underwriting decision review and debate.
• Manages a pipeline of loans.
• Responsible for driving a minimum of $25mm in annual lending.
• Achieves Primary Banking Relationship metrics.
• May take leadership roles on team initiatives and/or mentoring roles.
• Works within a team environment and collaborates closely with internal partners.
• Presenting at various healthcare networking events throughout the market.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years of sales experience with at least 3 years of Business Banking business development, credit and lending experience.

• Understanding of Financial documentation from IRS documentation to personal client financial detail
• Ability to translate a Cash flow analysis and communicate assessment to clients
• Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills with the ability to present in front of clients and COIs.
